Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Quinta do Borges was a beautiful, peaceful, rural location, but was also close to Guarda so all amenities were close by. Apartment Quinta do Borges 2 is a lovely, but very quirky property. The bedroom was spacious and warm, with a large and very comfortable bed. The en-suite bathroom had an excellent shower. The kitchen was quite traditional and the layout took a bit of getting used to, but had everything you might need for self-catering. The hosts, Fátima and Fernando, were very friendly and helpful and were on hand next door, had we needed them. We didn't have as much time as we wanted to explore the grounds but we would definitely return for another stay in the future and hope to explore more next time.
