Summary: This hotel could easily be a 5 stars if they could take care of some small and other bigger areas of clear opportunity. The spa masseuse is wonderful, but the hot tub area is uninviting. The main pool is beautiful but could use someone to come in occasions throughout the day to check on glasses left behind, or even offering support for towels or water or cushions, etc. the pool down by the vineyard is terrible - no cushions and truly nothing makes that area worthwhile having a pool down there. Restaurant staff is kind but they lack service training and being more welcoming and selling the concept of the area. Breakfast quality is ok, but it is truly unacceptable not to offer a dinner menu that can be ‘a la carts’ in a hotel like this. The concierge people are not very helpful, anttitude is not great (annd I anm talking more than two we interacted with) and not even truly knowledgeable of attractions around. When you ask for more specific details, they lack depth of information. The property is gorgeous and has incredible potential and we still loved our stay despite these areas of opportunity. Hope they are addressed.
