The huge chef's kitchen is fully equipped with a 6-burner range, espresso machine & most common high end appliances & cookware. The secluded back deck boasts an expansive heated, saltwater 40ft pool, 7-person hot tub, charcoal and gas grills, outdoor dining for 10, and a lounge area with fire pit, dog run, and shed storage filled with beach gear, bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, surfboards, fishing gear, corn hole, and more. Quogue Village is a small, quaint Hamptons beach community 90 miles from NYC. There is a private village beach which offers facilities for your family, from private attendant parking to showers, lockers, and a clubhouse serving gourmet lunches. We are a 14-minute bike ride from the beach (and under 10 minutes by car), and walking distance to the Quogue Wildlife Refuge. We are a four-minute drive to Sportime Quogue where there is a full tennis program and 26 indoor and outdoor Har-Tru Courts as well as exercise classes (spin, yoga, pilates, etc), a sauna, and a full gym.
Guest Access: Everything including high speed EV Charging station, Sonos stereo system with 4+ zones (including outdoors), highest speed internet, bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, fishing gear, tennis rackets & more. Indoors we have a baby grand piano, fireplace, and every kind of entertainment (foosball and pingpong in the downstairs kid area, and a babygrand piano and every kind of board game upstairs for adults, kids and family). Rental includes beach parking and season passes for 10 to Quogue Village Beach (for the duration of the rental).
The Neighborhood: We are on a private circle and less than a mile from the nature preserve with jogging trails, kayaking and outdoor yoga. Private tennis courts and lessons available down the road at Sportime Quogue.
Getting around: 5 minutes from the Westhampton LIRR.

Summary: My group and I stayed at Ben's house for MDW 2015 and we had such an amazing time. To start off, Ben was easy to connect and contact with when inquiring for a quote for his house. He responded within a matter of hours to all my emails and the several questions I had. Once we booked the house, Ben sent over a welcome email which includes almost everything you need to know about the house and about the town. The pictures he has on the website actually make the living room space look smaller than it is. The living room space is very big and there is a 60 inch TV in there with cable. The best part is the Sonos Speaker system which is connected all around the house and each one can play different music which was beneficial for our group. The kitchen is also spectacular with 6 burners and is fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, etc. The pool is not heated but is very big and large. The hot tub was hot and perfect to end the night. When we arrived, the pool was a bit dirty (because it's Spring and there was pollen and dirt around), but Ben had already informed me that the pool cleaners would be coming to clean it all up. There's a charcoal and propane grill as well which we took advantage of. The town of Quogue is small. There is a Rite Aid, Walbaum's and some small restaurants you can eat at even though we didn't. The beach was also a nice place to hang out but a bit chilly (8 minute drive from the house). I contacted Ben once throughout the weekend and he responded in a timely fashion. I would recommend this house to couples that are looking to getaway or even families with children. We truly had an amazing time and would definitely come back again!

Summary: I was very impressed with this house. The pictures are great insight to what to expect, but the house is grander and more spacious than they let off. Rich and I stayed here for LDW and some friends and family joined us. Everyone was blown away with how gorgeous this house is. The pool is huge and clean and the hot tub is great for the cool summer nights. The kitchen is a dream to cook in and the décor makes you feel like you could be on the beach. I would highly recommend!!!!

Summary: This is a great, comfortable, spacious, light-filled house with a gourmet kitchen, big pool, large deck, and hot tub set in a beautifully landscaped, wooded community of Frank Lloyd Wright-ish looking homes. The house is a destination in itself! It served as home base for my family (6 of us; me, my wife, son-13yrs, son-10, daughter-7, and yellow lab-3) during the first week of August. It was ideal for us because we had a diversity of activities planned: we wanted to hang at the beach; explore the area by car; explore the immediate area by foot and bike; shop; and just chill at the pad, reading, swimming, cooking, eating, drinking, watching TV, and being lazy. We succeeded. (By the way, the weather was perfect all week -- low 80s, sunny, no humidity.) We went to the beach 3 times (3 miles from the house -- 12 minute bike ride through town and over the draw bridge. We went fishing on a family-friendly commercial charter called the Shinnecock Star in Hampton Bays (7 miles from the house at the end of Dune Rd.) and caught a few snook (too small to keep, though). We biked to and from West Hampton (3 miles), Hampton Bays (6 miles), and South Hampton (12 miles). We walked the trails of the beautiful Quogue Wildlife Preserve, just around the corner from the house. We hung at home for several hours each day. We visited Montauk, Amagansett, East Hampton, Sag Harbor, Shelter Island, the North Fork (which is really gorgeous and where there are tons of wineries -- one of which we visited for a couple of hours and enjoyed some mediocre wine out in the sprawling, beautiful back yard that ends at a cliff overooking the LI Sound. Wife and daughter did some shopping in South Hampton (ouch!) For dinners, we cooked at home in the kitchen twice and on the grill twice, and went to restaurants three times: John Scott's surf shack in Westhampton Beach was good food and good fun atmosphere; Edgewater's in Hampton Bays was really outstanding; Tex-Mex place in Westhampton was so-so. The house and property were both very clean and well-maintained and the owners were easily accessible (by text) for the few questions we had (mostly concerning how to operate their modern appliances). This is a really nice property that had everything we needed (including good bicycles) to maximize our enjoyment, and the owners are exceptionally pleasant people. I would definitely recommend this property.

Summary: Ben and Kelcey's home was the perfect escape for our group. It's quiet, very spacious, modern, and has lots of open space and light. The backyard has a large pool, fire pit, two grills, and an awesome hot tub for stargazing after a day in the sun. As a bonus, the master bedroom has a very impressive bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. This house is ideal for big groups (we had 8) because with the bikes provided and the nearby beautiful beach, people can kind of go off and do what they want with no pressure. and there's enough space to get a little alone time even with lots of people. As for the hosts themselves, they are simply lovely people. Ben was totally on call for small needs we had (internet stuff, cords) and was insanely responsive to my texting throughout the weekend. He was very gracious in dealing with a large group, often answering many questions from different people in the same day and accommodating different arrival times. He's also a new dad to twins, so I know he had better things to do - but he never let on to that ;) We enjoyed a peaceful, completely beautiful July 4th holiday here. As for the one day it stormed, we were happily entertained making breakfast and watching the World Cup on the ginormous tv! Watching the rain against the skylights was pretty nice too! Thanks so much guys… I truly hope to return.
