Positive: I booked Raam Studio for my trip to Amsterdam at the end of March. The accommodation is very conveniently located, close to the main attractions and shops. The room is small but very cozy. It has everything you need — dishes, towels, a kettle, a coffee machine, and a large bed. The staircase to the room is a kind of attraction in itself 😊 The room was warm; sometimes I even had to open the window at night. Special thanks to the host — all the necessary information was sent right after the booking, and they kept in touch the whole time.

Positive: Location was great and the host was very lovely and very responsive. Yes - there are a lot of steep stairs to get to the room but I’m not sure what people expect given it’s in Europe and is listed as a “studio”.

Negative: We had the room with the loft and it got very hot and the fan doesn’t really work. It would also be nice if there was somewhere comfortable to sit in the downstairs part of the loft. There were only 2 folding chairs and 2 hard plastic ones. A comfortable arm chair or small sofa would go a long way in making the room more comfortable. Wouldn’t be an issue for a smaller stay but we were there for a week so it was just something we noticed. Also the pictures could do with updating because it’s a little different than pictured. There was no clothes rack or full length mirror as in the images.

Positive: Great location to get known the most parts of the city. Nice clean & modern bathroom. All and all pretty nice accommodation.

Negative: Mattres was a bit squirky + two plankets would be better.
