Positive: Uldis greeted us when we checked-in. He is the best story teller you will ever meet. Exceptional service, clean, air conditioning & view of the river! Near bus station, quiet neighborhood, short walk to old town.

Positive: Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I had a spacious room with a lovely view of the river, the bed was very comfortable, everything was clean, and the breakfast was very good.
Negative: However, I was quite surprised by some of the additional charges, particularly having to pay extra for parking. For a hotel of this standard, I would have expected parking to be included in the room rate. Another disappointment was the lack of food options later in the evening. I arrived at around 9:30 p.m. after a long journey, only to find that the hotel restaurant was already closed, so there was no possibility to have dinner. There was coffee and water in the room, but unfortunately no snacks or minibar options available either. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, but these additional details could definitely be improved, especially for guests arriving later in the evening. If you are going to charge guests extra for private parking, the parking area should at least be properly maintained. It was disappointing to have to walk through puddles, cracked asphalt, and potholes, especially considering that parking comes at an additional cost.
