Summary: The hotel was very functional but it was tired and simple things like touching up bedroom walls where luggage and furniture has scuffed it would be a much needed improvement. Pool area is tired and needs updating but it is functional and fine for a short break. Breakfast was fantastic. Strange to pay for parking at a hotel but this might be standard across Norway. Great location for skiing

Summary: A bit late for the skiing season so hotel wasn’t fully booked. Nice area with good access to the slopes. Ski shop in the reception that was frequently used.

Summary: Stayed 7 nights in April with our son, 7 yo. It’s a ski in and ski out resort. There is a place behind hotel to rent skis if you need and you can get your ski pass online from ski star website which you can reuse in other resorts in Norway and Sweden. It’s such a relaxing place, we slept with windows open it was so quiet. The air was fresh and we also drank the tap water which is recommended. Hotel has plenty for kids: pool, fake surfing wave, bowling, kids play room, pool tables, ice hockey tables and arcade games. We had a car so went to Sweden for a day. The restsraunts are great lots of choice and you never need to be in a line. You can pre book on ski star website. Also there are restaurants on the pistes and they are as delicious and authentic. There is also a shop in the hotel if you forgot any snow gear. Pistes are great, something for everyone. We will be back !!! Thank you Trysil.
