Summary: Very average hotel, definitely not a 4 star- rating needs to be revised. No one came to clean the room- had to request:( Breakfast buffet is mediocre and not included, which was never disclosed. They did delete the charges, though, which I appreciate.

Summary: The young lady that helped us at check-in was wonderful and when i told her we where on our honeymoon they upgraded our room at no cost. She said she has only been Working there a week. She did a excellent job & understands about excellent customer service.

Summary: Excellent location, nice, clean and quiet room with BBC news available on TV and a hot pot in the room for making tea. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom with excellent shower. Hotel staff are polite but some at the front desk seem more competent than others (the person who checked us in forgot to share any of the hotel’s amenities with us, including info about the breakfast buffet and fitness areas). Very good breakfast buffet included with extremely helpful and friendly serving staff. Nice fitness room with limited equipment (but both regular water and sparkling water on tap), a dry sauna and a steam room with clean locker and showers that were so lightly used that no one else was there when we used them. Most staying there were in Bergen on business or attending the nearby international music festival—despite being told we would hear the music the rooms were quiet and we never heard a thing. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: the location is good, walking distance to most of the sight seeing area. The room is small and not very clean. Dont go to the sea food market, it is for tourist , they charge us over price for the crab.

Summary: The bathroom was terrible, it was basically a sink and toilet installed in a shower, the whole floor was a shower and it got wet every time the shower was used. Breakfast was delicious and the only highlight of the hotel. Front desk staff was not helpful. They didn’t offer to call me a taxi, the front desk agent told me to walk to the ship,and their Ipad that was supposed to do the taxi order, didn’t order a big enough taxi to take me , my party, and our luggage to the ship. People standing in line to check in lwere more helpful than the front desk staff.
