What Our Guests say 500 + Reviews

Summary: The hotel needs to be updated. You wait 5-7 minutes for one elevator. The hotel has 13 floors. The office chair in our room needed to be thrown out. It was ripped and the stuffing of the chair was showing. The first night I got into bed my upper part of my feet began to itch. I didn’t think anything of it. The second night got under the comforter and again my upper feet began to itch. I looked at feet and I had red round bites. I would call them bed bugs bites. I began to strip the bedding and when I got to the mattress cover there was several stains. I called down to get cleaning bedding. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Summary: This is a 1-star hotel disguised as a 3-star. The beds were fine, but the bathroom was in an advanced state of decay. The fan didn’t work, the roof is actively peeling off, and our bathtub barely drained. When we arrived we saw a long hair in the tub. There’s a general sense of malaise. 2 slow elevators service 15 floors of guests. Our check in person never smiled or even made eye contact. The upstairs rotating restaurant was neat, but expensive. The waffles were legitimately delicious. The pool was just kinda meh. The hot tub was out of service because of course it was. This venue needs some love.

Summary: This hotel is badly in need of updating. That being said, it is no excuse for the dirty rooms. I paid for three rooms for a weekend getaway for the family because it is conveniently located to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The carpet is stained. The corners and edges are dirty. The coffeemaker was covered with dust. The bathroom paint is peeling. We didn't expect housekeeping services, but not even the bare minimum was given--The garbage was not removed from the rooms, nor were coffee pods, cups and water cups replaced. The elevator was painfully slow. The pool liner was disgusting, and the hot tub not operating. The beds at least were clean and comfortable. Do not stay here unless you're desperate.

Summary: Went for a weekend trip to see some sites. Wanted a view of the lake and harbor and this place fit the bill. However upon arrival was greeted not so friendly by the front desk. Got rushed away while I was trying to ask question as this was our first time there. Get to the elevators to head to our room and you wondered if they were going to stop working by their sounds. Each of the had sounds like the cables were going to break. Then we get to our room and are greeted by stained carpet, a bathroom that is just stupidly set up, and outlets where the plugs fall out. In all the hotel was very dated and so was the building’s interior. Parking was not secure with signs saying you park at your own risk everywhere. The check was just as much of a disaster as check in. They didn’t go over your bill or ask if you wanted a receipt. Pretty much oh you leaving give us the keys and out the door you go. On the positive side the restaurant on the 15th floor was cool. It rotated but was also dated.

Summary: The carpet was so dirty, with huge stains, the bottom of my sox were black. Asked when checking in how busy they were and the reply was "plenty of rooms available." So my question why would they put me in a room on the 5th floor overlooking an alley and parking lot. The elevator shuttered when it was moving. There were two different styles of bedside lamps and the chair, which was too uncomfortable to sit in, I am assuming came from Good Will. The place needs to be updated. The Front Desk could not help when asked questions, one replied I am not from here, should be trained on basic customer questions.

Summary: Old and run down. The elevator in the older part of the building is dirty and smells like weed. It was filthy. The room was clean but needs updating badly.

Summary: The hotel is great but the elevator is a little disconcerting.

Summary: Pet friendly options and proximity determined this hotel. The room was clean and bathroom modern, although we were in a 'pet friendly' room. . The hotel clearly needs an upgrade. Carpet is worn in the hallways, and often stained. The restaurant is a neat touch, it rotates, and look as if one stepped back into 1984, although I don't think they are going for an eighties theme, it just has not been upgraded. The area around the hotel is sketchy - the parking ramp is dark, and there are often people hanging out smoking. I was unsure if they were guests, or just looking for trouble. I picked up a very uneasy vibe every time I went outside at night with my dogs. Off the main streets Duluth looks at best like an economically depressed city; at worst it looks dangerous in some areas.
