Summary: The location of Maggie’s home was lovely. Quiet and peaceful with incredible views of the surrounding countryside. The home was well stocked with everything we needed. As others have noted, the road is a bit tricky but manageable (we traversed it fine in a rented Ford Focus). Communication was excellent and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Wow where do I start...I suppose I could start with saying I am really fussy! This property delivered on so many levels. First to mention the views!! Just instantly puts you in a good mood waking up to the breathtaking views...the pictures on the listing are accurate. The beds were so comfortable (even better than ours at home which is unusual from a holiday let) and the contact and help from the owner was perfect. Gave us our privacy but responded to queries quickly. The surrounding area is lovely. I am so glad I booked this property for a wonderful stay in lake como.

Summary: This place has amazing views of Lake Como and its surrounding mountains. Its a great accomodation if you want to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There is also a pool that I am sure is great in the summer (we visited in winter). It is a steep drive up to the village of Olgiasca, so be aware of the steep and small mountain roads. The village is nice, with a hotel, some restaurants and a market. We mainly stayed there in the evening/morning and were out during the day, but if you wanted to use this as a retreat, that would also be nice. It was comfortable and well-equipped. I would stay again.

Summary: We rented the house and the apartment. This worked perfect for our group of eleven and we had room to spare. The location was ideal. The village was charming. The owners super helpful and courteous. The grounds and pools were immaculate kept. The views of the lake were unparalleled.

Summary: The property is located on a beautiful spot on the Olgiasca peninsula. We enjoyed the views over the Como Lake, which changes by the hour due to the effects of wind, sun and clouds. The family Maffioli is very friendly and helpful and our two dogs were really welcome. The garden is fully fenced, which is great having two dogs running around. One feels right in the middle of Italian life, which adds to the experience. Great value for money!
