Positive: The room was quite spacious, equipped with a fridge, private bathroom. Possible to use a clean communal kitchen and dining room in a separate structure in the yard, there is a washing machine too. A good place to stay in a quiet and secure area of the town, close to the fortress.

Positive: The service is fantastic. Very clean and the room and set up felt like home for me. Also got a car to go round town. Would definitely be back
Negative: Didn’t get any hot water in my room even though I was happy bathing with cold water due to the hot weather.

Positive: Overall, my family and I had a great experience at the Ralux House, the host Sr. Mário, his wife, and staff were incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. Although we didn't have breakfast most of the time, breakfast was always available. The rooms were wonderful, clean, and perfect for our stay in São Tomé. The location is superb, only 5 minutes walk to most tourist attractions in the city centre. My mother had a wonderful 79th birthday celebration. She loved the guesthouse and felt at home, and that was important. It is never easy to please a teenager and a 79 year old lady 😁, so I'm glad they were both happy. Thank you, Sr Mário and family, we will surely return! I recommend Ralux House to everyone visiting São Tomé!
