Positive: The location and view of the mountains on the water is exceptional. The spa and gym were also very nice.

Negative: There was mold EVERYWHERE. My room had mold in the entire bathroom. We switched rooms and it was there again in the new room. Then we were going to switch rooms again (because of the mold and AC not working) and I peaked at the new room and it also has mold and broken AC. This is a health hazard! Especially after I got a rhinoplasty! The air conditioners also did not work. Which was hell! I have a medical condition where I get rashes in hot environments and it really was awful staying here. The tv did not work and was not compatible with screen sharing so while I was recovering it was also again, hell.

Summary: This place is a health hazard and needs to be evaluated by the health department.

Positive: This property has 2 very big advantages: the location (central, walking distance to the old city through park) and proximity to the sea. The hotel has a picturesque platform beach, an absolute gem. 💎 The room was spacious too. I would recommend it for the sea and location if you are ok to tolerate outdated facilities.

Negative: I was surprised that the hotel managed to keep it’s 5 stars: the facility is old and needs renovation, there is a strange smell of old carpets in the corridors, staff is ok but you don’t get near 5* service. It’s in general clean but the glass fence in the swimming pool and in the canteen was quite dirty. In general, we found the hotel way too expensive for what you get.
