The house is located on a 100 acre working farm with long river frontage. Bring your friends and enjoy 4 bedrooms (all with double beds), a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, parlor, and one bath. This is the perfect location to enjoy relaxing, hiking, fishing, and kayaking. Because of our location in a remote river valley, there is no cell phone reception.

Summary: John and Sandy were fantastic hosts. Their farm house is located on 100 acres in a beautiful valley outside of Goshen. The house and farm are so full of history and so well maintained. If you are looking for a disconnected retreat, this is the place! Fishing, hiking, star gazing, and much more. Thanks John and Sandy for sharing your farm with us. We want to come back for sure! Summary: The Goshen Virginia area is simply beauty country. While remote, the Rambo house is a perfect place to get away and energize with stories, sunsets, lightening bugs and fresh spring fed water. Who needs the internet? Incredible experience staying in a living museum from the 1840’s. John and Sandy (owners) are incredibly helpful who know the history and lives that have lived and made the area home for 170 years. My family of 8, had a wonderful trip connecting with my roots in this part of Virginia.

Summary: Everything you need and more! John and Sandy were more then we anticipated. John shared some wonderful family history and some VMI stories with us. Only wished we had some more time to stay a their beautiful home. We are so glad they are willing to share it with others!!!
