Positive: This was a cute little place away from the noise of the town, with VERY friendly staff. Luis asked if I needed anything whenever we crossed paths. The pool was decent, the lounging area had good wifi, and the room came with a portable A/C unit.

Negative: It was a 30 minute walk from town, but the walk was very safe, even for a solo female walking at night.

Positive: Very friendly staff, who picked me up from the airport. Arranged a tour that arrived 20 minutes after I enquired and took a detour to the post office for me on the way back to the airport.

Negative: Room did not have a hairdryer

Positive: Rangi Moana is lovely. The cottages and pods are well spaced out with gardens all around. The pool is a bit old but still nice and the communal area is a nice place to sit. It is a very peaceful place to stay. There is a small but reasonably well stocked supermarket 5 minutes walk away. The host provided an airport transfer both ways. Tour companies picked us up from the end of the lane just a few minutes walk away. We liked Rangi Moana very much, despite the distance from town.

Negative: It is a long walk to the town centre, longer than google led us to believe and it was not always easy to get a taxi especially during the festival time. There is no aircon but there was a fan and the temperature drops a little at night so it was manageable.

Positive: The staff was amazing! So welcoming and kind. The location is a bit out of town but nice surrounding and easy to get around with taxi or car/scooter. Starlink but only by the office (not in rooms). Overall would recommend!
