Private Lake Michigan cottage with beautiful sunsets, and nature at your door steps. 100 feet of Lake MI frontage with an outstanding Western view. New owners updating everything! 1,400 sq ft with 3 bedrooms ( 2 queen beds, 2 twins) and 2 full and newly remodeled bathrooms. New kitchen added in 2024! Deck on Lake side with outside seating, gas grill, picnic table and a fire pit. Just a bike ride from town. WIFI, tv, DVD player, washer/dryer, microwave, coffee maker. No smoking and no pet policy. This home has everything you need to have a relaxing vacation! Limit to 6 people (best suited for 2 couples 2 kids)

Summary: Had a nice visit. Very quiet and private. Saw no neighbors at the beach the entire visit or nearby. The house was just the right size for our group of three. The only issue my elderly mother had was stairs getting into house. Once inside though she could get around well.

Summary: Rebecca's house is wonderful, beautiful & comfortable. We had plenty of room for 4 adults. Towels were nice & the water pressure is GREAT!!! Plenty of dishes & cookware. Water tasted good, not well water. Internet worked well in the living room. The shore is rocky, so bringing water shoes is a must. But it's a very easy walk into the water. The use of the Kayaks & bikes were a very nice suprise. The house sit's on the west side of the island, we had AMAZING sunsets every night.

Summary: Celebrated a 75th birthday and visited an old friend on Font Lake. Lots of biking, hiking, kayaking, beach time, with a culmination of the 4th of July Parade and fireworks over the harbor. This was our twelfth stay on Beaver Island, the best yet!!!

Summary: Both the home and the island are absolute gems. We had everything we needed in the house itself and the view was perfect. My 10 year old had the time of his life searching the shore for wildlife. The sunsets were stunning. We will be back for sure!

Summary: Sundown Shores is one of the coolest places we’ve visited in some time. Step out onto the rocky shoreline at sundown for one of the more spectacular views on Lake Michigan before enjoying a jaw-dropping dark sky. The home has everything you need, and the new kitchen remodel looks great and is super functional. The interior is clean, cozy and has plenty of character. The living area opens directly out onto the beachfront, so it really feels like you’re sitting on the shore from inside the home, which is perfect on a less-than-perfect weather day. The included bikes make it a breeze to get around the island. We enjoyed biking to Main Street to get groceries at the market, have a bite to eat at Shamrocks, or simply just walk around and enjoy the island vibes. The islanders are some of the nicest people you’ll meet (and I’m from the Midwest, so that bar is pretty high!) All-in-all, it’s a truly one-of-a-kind experience that is well worth the trek.

Summary: Wonderful experience! Only thing to note is that the beach is pretty rocky so it’s not an easy to swim in spot but otherwise, five stars! Thanks for bikes in the shed too! Donegal sunset rides were perfect! Also we saw a bunch of monarch butterflies as well as bunnies, deer, snakes, and frogs here.
