Summary: I was searching for a little rest and relaxation before heading back to school this fall and I found it on Crooked Lake! Mary was delightful and efficient in her communication and the house was cozy and clean. We took advantage of the outside grill and the pontoon- which really added to our enjoyment. Wifi was strong, home was in a quiet neighborhood and centrally located. Will most definitely stay here again!

Summary: The view is beautiful, located right on the lake. House is sufficient, could definitely use some updating and repairs but for a week stay it did the job.

Summary: The only real Down side is the number of steps especially for older adults. Some steps may need repair soon and railings by all steps (they have some) would be beneficial.

Summary: Gorgeous sunsets on Crooked Lake. We stayed the week after Labor Day. Could not have asked for a more peaceful stay! The weather was still pretty warm too.

Summary: My wife and I had a great relaxing week at the cottage. Used the pontoon boat almost every day for fishing, swimming, and just cruising around. Nice fire pit and wonderful views of the lake from the deck !!

Summary: Stayed here last year came back this year. Glad the stairway down to boat/water was fixed so it is very sturdy. Clean. Could use a few more glasses. Not good for anyone with balance or mobility problems. Cottage has different levels and stairs to boat/ water not easy. To navigate. Mary was very good in responding to any request. She also updated all necessary equipment for the pontoon since we were inspected by the DNR. Caught a 15 1/2 inch small mouth bass which was the highlight of my stay. Husband did lots of golfing. We had great weather.

Summary: This was our second visit and we loved it more than the first time. The pontoon was awesome, addition of kayaks great, and AC worked great for 90+ degree temps. Great fishing. We’ll be back!

Summary: Place was very clean. Beautiful view of lake and sunsets. Lots of stairs both inside and out, not good for anyone with any balance or walking issues. Enjoyed the pontoon. Lake has a nice sandy bottom and water is very clear.

Summary: The cottage is not fancy, so if you are looking for a high end destination or you are very picky this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a great little cottage with great views and the use of a pontoon boat all week, this is for you. The boat is great for fishing and swimming. You can also swim right in front of the property since it has lots of sand and shallow water. It gets a little weedy as you go out but if your are in a float it doesn't bug you. The sunsets from the deck are FANTASTIC! There is a great Weber grill to cook your dinners. Bring your bikes and you can bike to an ice cream stand in about 5 minutes. There is also a rails to trails bike route real close. There is a gas station and general store in a 5 minute proximity and a family dollar pretty close, so you can get groceries, and bait and gas for the pontoon without wasting a lot of time. Mary was great! We had an issue starting the pontoon the first night and she drove up to check it out. We will stay again if we have a chance. It's a great place to relax and unwind.
