Summary: Our family is new to this part of the country and was looking for a weekend getaway to relax and play. Ray’s retreat offered this and more. Located closely to the East Port marina we were not only able to enjoy the serene’s environment this property offered but also had the ability to get essentials close by, rent a boat, and spend the day on the water. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We found this to be a pleasant, cheerful home. The view of the lake is pretty. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck above the bluff. The owner was easy to reach and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: We were in town for a family event and rented Ray’s Retreat. The house is clean and spacious and kitchen had everything we needed. Only downside is that the dock doesn’t really have a sunny place to sit. Only seating is up near the house and shaded. The arcade game was a lot of fun. You may want to include some beach sized towels for swimming. Another enhancement would be a larger dresser in the upstairs bedroom. There isn’t a lot of counter space in the bathroom either and it would be great to have had more room for makeup, toiletries etc. Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: Besides the fact that we were tall boys and had to duck just a bit going up the stairs, this was perfect for what we were after. Short ride to the marina if you wanted to rent a boat and go out for the day, plenty of space for the 6 of us to sleep and hang out, and just a very safe option and time with everything else happening in the world.
