Summary: Just returned from spending a wonderful week at Domaine de la Tourelle in Provence! Not our first time to stay in and tour Provence; but, there could not be a better property for touring Provence or just relaxing. My family of 9, including myself, my wife, 2 daughters and son-in-law; and, granddaughters of 4, 12, 18 & 20, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities could not have been lovelier, all as described in VRBO, this chateau is beautiful, elegant, spacious; one of my granddaughters says it is the most beautiful house she has ever seen (and that says a lot!). Can't say enough about the grounds, secluded in beautiful forest and gardens, tennis courts, swimming pool, all of first class quality. Easily within minutes of great restaurants, historic sites and wine vineyards. Suggestions for some of our favorite stops while there: (1) Chateau Romanin vineyards & winery; (2) best casual Italian restaurant - Da Peppe in St. Remy; (3) outstanding premier white table cloth dinner - Chateau-des-Alpilles. The location is ideal for touring Provence, located in the small town of Orgon, just miles south of Avignon (and TGV station) and +/- 10 miles east of the better known St. Remy-de-Provence, this is centrally located for trips to Avignon, Orange, St. Remy, Les Baux-de-Provence, Arles, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Aix-en-Provence, Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, or the many other beautiful and historic sites of Provence. In spite of the crazy times caused by the Pandemic, the proprietors, Joelle and her son Antonin, could not have been more informative, supportive and cooperative both prior to and during our stay. A vacation here was, for our family, truly a "once in a lifetime experience"!!! Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy it for yourself! Thank to Joelle and Antonin. Summary: Very well presented house, lovely extensive grounds, lots of activities available and an excellent and polite gurdien living on site, who was quick to respond to any issues , when needed. It suited out active family of thirteen people, aged from 7 to 70 perfectly.

Summary: We have just got back from two wonderful weeks in this beautiful property. This amazing house is set in a private, secluded spot with a fabulous pool and tennis court. There are lots of pretty places and vineyards to visit in the area. The property itself is very well equipped and the caretaker (lives on site) and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this breathtaking property to groups or large families and would definitely visit again.

Summary: We spent 7 fantastic days in this fabulous house. Very well equipped, with air conditioning, that was very well appreciated as the temperature outside was specially hot this summer! There are so many beautiful villages and "marchers provencaux" in the region (les Baux de Provence, St Remy de provence, la Camargue), and also we visited some villages in the Luberon like Gordes). Lots of space in the house and outside! The tennis court is brandly new as well, and the swimming pool is big enough for many people!

Summary: This venue is pure magic. We spent a week with friends and family and we simply felt we were out of the normal world. The house has 5 superb and very neat bedrooms, all well decorated,with all the equipment you would need to spend your holidays without worrying about anything. The house has a huge and very comfortable living room with large sofas and a huge TV screen. Amenities like DVD player and WIFI are of course included. But the most incredible part of the domaine is certainly the outdoor area, which is huge with a splendid swimming pool where you could spend the entire day without moving from your deck chair, but also the nature around, with beautiful trees, flowers and bushes covering the whole hill, which is also part of the domain. We didn't have to worry about the neighbours, the property is so vast that we were literally on our own on the hill and we couldn't hear anybody but the cicadas. Also worth mentioning is Daniel and his spouse, who are the guardians of the domain. They stay in a small house at the bottom of the hill and all they want is make sure that your stay is unforgettable: helping with buying local fruits and vegetables, with changing bed sheets whenever necessary, basically with any small needs we could have, all this served with a lot of cheerfulness. Highly recommended.
