Positive: The property was perfectly located. We had the beach all to ourselves. The house was well stocked with everything we could need. Even had two chairs and an umbrella for the beach. The beds were comfortable, and plenty of comfortable sitting space in the living area. I have never stayed somewhere that provided full sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each bathroom! Lastly, having a deck or balcony on each level was such a treat. And I loved that two of them were screened in!
Negative: Some of the doorknobs were hard to turn making it hard to get out of the bathrooms, and the door on the top level to the balcony got stuck and we thought we’d been locked out. But once we figured them out, it was no big deal. The refrigerator door makes and awful pop/click noise every time it is opened and closed… could be heard all over the house.
Summary: Hope to come back to Recovery Room next year!

Positive: Location was pretty good and the view of the Gulf was very nice, however the property owner needs to spend a weekend there and see what really needs to get fixed around there, I owned rental property in Destin and I used to go and see what was needed and did the repairs regularly
Negative: The home was in need of some repairs, thee first night there the smoke detector battery was dead, I notified the people that we had to contact and they were very nice but I had to buy a battery and fix it myself. They sent someone the next morning ,But I was not going to listen to it all night.

Positive: This place is amazing! We had so much fun & the location is the best due to no big high rise condos, no planes flying over with advertisements, etc. The beach was clean & not crowded at all. We wondered if once we retire in a few years if there is special rates for extended stays? Like during Winter months? Say November to March. Any info would be appreciated.
Negative: I can't think of a thing. We did report ants present the last 2 days or so but they seem to be everywhere outside too.
