Positive: The hotel is very close to Murchison Falls National Park, which makes it very convenient for going on game drives. It is a beautiful place, with lovely gardens and incredible views of the jungle and the Nile.
Negative: The food was okay, just okay. The staff were not particularly helpful and seemed rather serious. We did not feel particularly well looked after. There was too much rigidity around meal times and when ordering food. There was no Wi-Fi, and electricity was only available for a few hours a day to charge phones and other electronic devices. I think that a hotel at this price should at least provide Wi-Fi and unlimited electricity. We were staying in a cabin. One of the mosquito nets had many holes, and the bathroom was quite old. The facilities were very old.

Positive: Nice staff, clean rooms great location in middle of park. Just one random rude american guy ruining whole experience. But other than that overally very good place to stay on budget.

Positive: The rest camp is a great place to meet up with other travellers and is ideally located within walking distance of the Murchison Falls boat jetty. We stayed 2 nights in one of the rondavels - fairly small but perfectly adequate with ensuite toilet/shower. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the food at the on-site restaurant is good and very reasonably priced.
Negative: While there is electricity 24/7 for lighting, electricity for other things such as the fan or mobile chargers is off from 11pm to 8am, which if the weather is hot and humid, which it was while we were there, means nights were a little bit uncomfortable, but nothing we couldn't deal with!

Positive: A very welcoming, friendly place, great to sit around in the communal area or around the fire, easy to get talking with other guests. Rooms were clean, fine. Excellent value for money especially given its location.
Negative: Communal showers and toilets a bit basic- as on a camp site
