Positive: Challis has some pleasant hot springs, about 3 miles from this lodge. The property was clean and well kept up and the kitchenette thoughtfully equipped.
Negative: Could have provided an outdoor sitting area, barbeque.

Positive: The hotel was not busy so we had no noise during our stay. Beds were not the most comfortable but perhaps being picky.
Negative: The location is further away from town than expected and no food onsite means its a 20 minute walk for 5 minute drive to one of only two food places in town (recommend the Roadhouse)

Negative: No food or drink available other than coffee/tea, no vending machines, no ice, no laundry. Shower wasn't so clean, a large dead bug in the corner of the bathroom, and dirty toilet brush.
Summary: Fairly bare bones, room was nice other than issues in the bathroom.
