Summary: The cabin itself is so clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped (it even had marshmallow roasting forks). As lovely as the cabin itself is, the outdoor area with the swing and fire pit were the best part. The best part of our stay was the night we had a marshmallow roast and sat out until late watching the fireflies. Even though neighbors are close, it feels so private. We even saw deer one morning. It was close to all the sites we wanted to see. Lake Nolan is beautiful, and we were able to get to Mammoth Cave in about 15-20 minutes. I wish we had been able to stay longer.

Summary: What a great place to stay. The cabin is clean and close to Mammoth Cave National Park. It comfortably slept my family of 4 and we got to see some nearby wildlife. The host responded to my inquiries very quickly and was easy to work with.

Summary: Nice accomadations, just wjat we were looking for. Saw deer and a turtle. Could her turkeys. Had books, games and toys for the kids. Ni e fire pit.

Summary: My brother and I took our parents here to celebrate their 60th anniversary. The Redbird was a cozy home away from home. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. I loved drinking coffee on the front porch while rocking in the rocking chairs and listening to all the birds in the morning. And I equally loved sitting around the campfire in the evenings. One day we visited Nolin State Park and we visited Mammoth Cave National Park on another day. Both parks are located nearby and are beautiful places. The beds were super comfortable and we slept peacefully. We ate several meals at the Redbird and found everything we needed to accommodate our cooking. The Redbird was just the right place for us.

Summary: Very clean, and nice we enjoyed the property and stay, it doesn’t really sleep 7 like it says in Vrbo ad but it does sleep 5 comfortably, it needs Atleast a queen bed in down stairs bedroom really, and a couch that makes a bed, then it would be better!! They had mouse traps set out in bedroom and there was a dead mouse in it been there a few days atleast haha, but other than that it was nice and clean, also the water for a shower could of been hotter because you turn the hot wide open and adjust cold but the setting on water heater is way too low in my opinion, over all it’s a very nice place and I would stay again if I needed to! I’d rate it a 6-10 because of dead mouse, only warm shower not hot, and small bed down stairs, and no couch bed!! But thank you it’s a nice place and the outside lights and fire pit is great!!

Summary: We loved the cabin. It had all the amenities but was still rustic and fairly secluded. It was also near Mammoth Cave NP and there were grocery stores and restaurants fairly nearby. We would return.

Summary: This is a must book cabin rental! From the check in/checkout process to all the amenities, it was fantastic. The cabin is beautifully decorated and all of the amenities provided were above and beyond my expectations. I can’t wait to rebook this cabin again and go back to enjoy the beautiful fire pit area provided for guest (it was a little too chilly this time around for outdoor fun 😊).
