Positive: Very clean, stylish, welcoming and fairly comfortable.
Negative: Pillows are too small & insufficient. Room rate is high (I understand there are logistics involved) but I was expecting a bit “more”. Maybe some more furniture in the room, towel hooks in the bathroom… I was expecting a more “lavish” room for 350 euros a night…
Summary: Staff was very friendly, hotel was very clean, restaurant experience was warm and hearty. But I wouldn’t spend 350 euros

Positive: I had wanted to stay at this hotel high on Mt Blanc for many years. It was worth the wait. The location is as extraordinary as you could ever find anywhere.
Negative: Nothing to criticise.

Positive: Chloe, the reception mgr, was wonderful! The surroundings were INCREDIBLE!! Only stayed one night - wish we’d stayed longer. Montenvers was buzzing during the day with tourists and families, but it quiets down at dinner, and only hotel guests are there for that meal Loved the 1st floor deck for lounging, soaking in sun and views.

Positive: Such a neat location and friendly staff. We were in the family room with unique bunk beds. Our window looked out to an all night rock fall. Loved it.

Negative: not enough staff. Breakfast not laid out at 8am, lights off no food out, half cooked croissants and not quite defrosted bread. First train departure 9am. No hair dryer in room or curtain or blind in bathroom.
