Positive: This home was wonderful for our family of 6 attending a wedding. The property is peaceful and beautiful with an incredible view off the back porch of the pond, surrounding trees and pasture. Perfect while enjoying a quiet morning cup of coffee. The home is luxuriously decorated with a leather living room area facing a fireplace and large smart tv with dish network and internet apps. A dining table seats at least 6 for eating together or playing games. There is bar seating at the kitchen counter top as well. The kitchen has a large toaster/air fryer and of course all other appliances. Having a washer and dryer while away from home is so nice. We got rained on while we were out and threw everything in the washer so we didn’t have to travel home with damp clothes. They had fishing poles available to use in the stocked pond. A 7lb bass was caught but the rest were small. Lots of bream in the pond also. There were also kayaks and a two person boat to use. The cabin stayed very cool during our hot August visit. I don’t know what the owner had it set on. For us Floridians it was cold but welcome for sure. Slept great at night. I was in the master bedroom upstairs and my bed was very comfortable. The master bed and bath is a beautiful space. Two separate sink areas so ladies can become beautiful on one side and man can shave on the other. A huge shower with shower heads on two sides. There’s also a back porch off the master bedroom. I never had a complaint from the rest of the family about their beds. They had all the things you expect when renting a home available to use and truthfully many you don’t. Hair dryer, laundry soap and dryer sheets, lots of towels, full kitchen utensils, grill, fishing gear, shampoo/conditioner, iron. The home is very close to the tanger outlets and a super Walmart with a few smaller gas station/convenience stores even closer. Some of our group even drove up to the Braves game one night.

Positive: This property is breathtaking. The entire property brings you one with nature from the butterflies to the fish in the lake. It is definitely an environment for retreating and relaxing. Everything was just peaceful. I had great communication with the host. The decor and amenities of the cabin was spot on and checking in and out was a breeze. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Refuge Ranch Retreat Log. There was absolutely no complaints about this property. It exceeded our expectations over and beyond.
Summary: This is a beautiful property with amazing host. We will be booking again.
