Positive: Quite location, large bed, spacious room
Negative: The apartment is not very clean. One toilet roll only in one bathroom, none in the other. No heaters in the apartment and because of the location and high ceilings it is very cold so it can be quite hard to stay up past 8pm. We were charged the full amount on the 2nd day but even though they claim in replies to other reviews that they have a swipe card machine, it does not work and they only take cash. The nearest ATM is 20 mins away. Breakfast is provided at an extra cost that they don't charge until checkout (3rd day) after we were already charged for the room (2nd day) which was inconvenient as we didn't have enough cash after paying for the room so had to borrow from our driver and it seems over priced for what was provided.

Positive: Nice apartment. Very convenient for big families. There were 5 large rooms. One of the rooms has a small room with bunk beds as well so it is very ideal for travelling with a bunch of kids. The only thing is there was no central heating so the sitting area was very cold with the floors being very cold as well. Have to request for heaters separately as for the rooms. Once the heaters were in the room it was very cozy. So if there is central heating available as well it would have been perfect. The host went out of his way to make our stay exceptional.

Positive: We just stayed for a night here. This apartment was enormly big for the price. Unfortunately, we did not use all the rooms - it would have been ideal for us to book this if we were more people. Nevertheless, the person at reception was very friendly and helped us throughout our stay. He cleaned the rooms on request, arranged breakfast for us and was here whenever we called/contacted him.
Negative: The rooms were unfortunately very very cold - no heater was available which was a bit frustrating. There was no hot water in some of the rooms (even after putting on the switch). The bed's could have been more cleaner as we spotted few dirts.

Positive: Care Taker is very friendly and checking was quick and the room was ready on arrival. location is convenient and a bit far away from town, but this is nice as traffic is huge, especially on the season. My kids were really happy with the bunker beds on the apartment.
Negative: Nothing Bad About this apartment.

Positive: We booked our accommodation here at the last minute, as we left another local hotel in disgust at the poor hygiene. The Regal Rose Luxury Apartments far exceeded our expectations of what we have experienced in Sri Lanka so far. The hosts were so accommodating and welcoming. The tea on arrival was just what we needed. The breakfast was fantastic and catered exactly to our requirements. The water pressure was fantastic and the hot water was so hot. This accommodation is a real gem in Nuwara Eliya. The owner called us from Australia upon making the booking to check out requirements. It was great to have someone understand cleanliness and provide us with a clean and comfortable stay. Prasad the manager is a natural at customer service. Ishan thank you mate.
