Summary: I only gave this 2 stars because the staff was so nice. We changed hotels from where we were staying to this one strictly for the pool. A pool that was visibly filthy from just driving past it. When we actually walked inti the area we were greeted with thick layers of algae & scum along the walls. I had to tell my daughter not to swallow any of it & just kept telling myself a lake was filthier. That’s not the worst of it though. We heard this weird chirping overhead that I thought would be a bird but nope, the pool is surrounded by live electrical wires & the sound was coming from the satellite dish. The lowest wires (& there are ALOT of them) were directly over the pool. We never exited a pool so fast. I do not know how they are able to keep that pool open.

Summary: Okay, so you need a night stop with zero frills, this place is fine. It was not dirty, but it didn't feel clean. Room had strong cleaning odor, but still looked and felt dirty. Cucaracha in the bathroom. Didn't even want to pull cover of bed down to get under to sleep. Pool was gross, green algae all over the sides, and the deck area was covered in bird crap. Wasps flying around making nests in various areas, and trails of red ants on the deck. Service, I checked in and asked for additional towels and the guy asked me why, and pulled out a old small towel from a drawer. Never told me of additional pillows or blankets in the room drawers, would have been nice since we slept on top of the sheets under the spare room towels (no joke) This is a sub100 dollar roadside motel, not looking for a paradise, but there seemed to be no effort to make this place nice for guests. Did have a functional AC in the room, but smelled like urine when on. Random power outages on multiple times during night. Lamp had bulbs that didn't work. TV and remote did function well. The mirror reflected well. Hot water was excellent.

Summary: I am one of those guests that wiped down everything in hotel room prior to relaxing. It was filthy. When I pulled the bedsheets down, I put my flashlight on it and pulled about 10 long black hairs and some short ones so this tells me the sheets were not washed from the last guest. They just remade the bed. It was very old and I heard some people say they updated the property, but it wasn’t this room. The worst part is when I sat in a chair. It was really sticky, so I went to wipe the arm down and it was nothing but black coming off of it. One positive note the bed was comfy and I will say something, even if the room is incredible, and the bed is uncomfy

Summary: The staff was very helpful and attentive, but the overall condition and cleanliness of the property left much to be desired. While the front desk and check in area has been updated, the rooms and linens have not. The rooms weren’t clean. The linens (bedding, pillows, and towels) all felt old and in need of a refresh. The hair dryer was electric taped together, the tub drained slowly but the staff fixed that right away. The air conditioner in 116 didn’t cool the room very effectively, but my sister’s room 111 was very cool. Lots of work still to be done to this property to update it.
