Situated back from the road and close to the water, the views provided must be seen in person to be appreciated!
THE SPACE
Beautifully designed open concept kitchen/dinning and living room can easily accommodate large group gatherings. A top of the line wood stove on lower level offers a unique winter comfort found only in this style of home. The entertainment area in the lower level with walkout to the pool area offers summer entertainment for the entire family. While the wrap around deck provides great winter views from the hot tub. Imagine watching amazing sunrises or sunsets, summer or winter from the hot tub!

County Road Cottage is located in Mallorytown, Ontario, Canada.
Front of Yonge Township is a popular summer destination located along the 401 Highway within driving distance of Ottawa, Toronto, and the States. Summary: The house is beautiful and feels much bigger in person. The pool, hot tub and pool table were all hits with our family. Communication with Maz was great until I messaged him to let him know what we were a little disappointed about. He didn’t reply or apologize for anything. The basement shower was moldy and was out of order. The front deck is filthy, was falling off the house, and had a piece of wood saying not to use front deck because it’s a danger. The front door window was also smashed. The wrap-around deck was a huge selling point so it was definitely disappointing that it couldn’t be used. We had kids with us and it was concerning that they could’ve been seriously hurt on the porch. Maz had let us know before we arrived that the pool heater was out of order, which was fine, however there were wires hanging out of the pool wall. The AC barely worked and everyone who didn’t have a fan had a difficult time sleeping. The code for the door to check-in didn’t work and there was a deadbolt on the door. We had to find an open door on the house to get in. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean but cluttered. There were random people’s clothes hanging in the closet and there was a bunch of junk in the garage. The fire pit was also a mess. There were a ton of cameras around the house which wasn’t stated anywhere. I can look past most issues but I don’t want anyone getting hurt because of the safety issues. Also, having only one communal shower in working order for 21 people was difficult and no heads-up was given about anything. This place has a ton of potential but it definitely was not worth the amount we paid.

Summary: Unfortunately, the property looked wonderful in the photos and when we drove up the long, long driveway, but as we got closer we noticed four broken outdoor chairs by the fire pit and complete mess, the kitchen was dirty and most things in the house were broken. Wet basement carpet and mould in shower in basement. The house was disorganized and had multiple bags and stuff left from other guests. Clearly had not had a proper covid clean as stated! Maz did refund us one day, but unfortunately not somewhere we will come back to. Not the ‘fully loaded’ house we were expecting to stay in for a week! Very disappointed :(

Summary: It's a beautiful property with a very peaceful feel. Snow covered in the longest of sight range...clearly the highlight was the hot tub...must enjoy it...host is very helpful and nice guy...we will definitely come again in summer..

Summary: Upon arrival the checkin was quick and easy and Max was very easy to reach for any questions. The cottage was beautiful and big, the pictures do not do the property justice! The hot tub was amazing! The view was breathtaking as well! Our group can not wait to return in the summer. If you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful getaway this is it!

Summary: Wonderful property on a very large plot ensuring complete privacy. Cottage is beautifully and tastefully decorated. My kids, nieces and nephews had a blast and are asking when they can return. Will be booking again next year. Maz is a wonderful host and has his place stocked with all the necessities and more.
