3 Bedroom House in Waveland

Our home sits on a large lot located in a quiet neighborhood in Waveland, MS. The home is just a short walk or drive to the white sandy beaches of Waveland. After a day at the beach, cool off in our saltwater swimming pool.
Our split level two story home includes 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, full kitchen with dining area and den. The house features hardwood flooring throughout the entire home. The first floor Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed, cable TV and private master bath with Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom has two full beds and access to the 1/2 bath. Our third bedroom is located on the second floor and has three single beds, full bath and Cable TV. Great space for the kids. The home has several step up and downs on the first floor. If you or anyone in your party has limited mobility, please keep this in mind.
The Kitchen is fully stocked and equipped with all appliances including microwave oven, dishwasher and disposal. The house has a washer, dryer and iron.
The den is equipped with HD cable, Flat Screen TV and WiFi Internet.
Waveland is a quite beach community located on the beautiful gulf coast. Our home is located just minutes away from the white sandy beaches. Just a short drive down South Beach Road and you will find Old Town Bay St Louis or continue across the Bay Bridge to historic Pass Christian. Two major casinos are located 10 minutes from our home. New Orleans historic French Quarter is just an hour drive to the west.
Whether you want to relax on the secluded beaches, swim in the pool, golf, fish or gamble this area has something to offer.

Summary: My family of 5 stayed at this property as a last family trip before school starts back. We were so pleasantly surprised by the laid back town and close proximity to anything we could need. The lack of crowds and traffic made the stay so enjoyable and low stress. Our kids loved the backyard pool and splash pad/park down the street. The house was plenty of space for the 5 of us. We could have easily had 2-3 more people and would have still enjoyed the spacious accommodations. The kitchen was one of the best equipped I have seen in a rental home. The grill out back was perfect for our evening meals. The nearby Waveland Ground Zero Museum was a moving exhibit. Be sure to get something from the onsite Sugar Pop bakery, too. Bay St Louis was a great spot to eat by the Gulf. Gulfport is only 30 minutes away, and New Orleans only an hour. Again, no traffic! We enjoyed the week so much and hope to come back soon.

Summary: House was great although it took some adjustment to all the stairs, especially for the grandparents. Most all accessories needed in the house, extra spices, trash and soap were exceptional!! There is a single kureig and a full coffee pot as well as regular drip coffee. A few more plastic cups, bowls and plates would be helpful as we would have enjoyed eating outside (we purchased paper plates but feel wasteful). The kids loved the upstairs area to have all to themselves. The pool was great after enjoying the nearby beach. Quiet neighborhood and restaurant across street has decent food. Grocery 10 min away. Shopping in BSL is ok but Ocean Springs was better for us. We took a gator airboat ride in Moss Point and had a blast! Overall, loved our stay and hope to be back. Beach was good for small kids, no waves due to bay but had jellyfish some days. The sand was nice and soft though!

Summary: It was a great vacation, we enjoyed the pool and the ocean view at night. We traveled to New Orleans and an hour away from Florida. We went on a ghost tour, it wasn’t what we was thinking it was but it was nice to learn some history.

Summary: This home is absolutely Beautiful! The entire house was extremely clean, and the yard was freshly mowed and neat as a pin. Living room furniture is big and comfy if you want to stretch out and watch tv after a busy day. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, and the shower very roomy. Master bedroom has French doors leading out to a cozy patio perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails and grilling. The pool was amazing and so clean. The owner, Angelle, is so sweet and friendly. She answered all of our inquiries in a timely manner. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this gem; a beautiful house in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back! Thanks again, Angelle and Chris!💕

Summary: This awesome vacation home had everything you can imagine except a rice pot but we managed to get it perfectly right on stove top. The pictures do not do the house justice. The pool was a big hit with the children. It was extremely clean and ready for out arrival.
