3 Bedroom Cabin in Huntingdon

Less than five minutes to Snyder's Run boat launch and Raystown Lake, this cozy home is the perfect lake and boating getaway! Boat parking is available on site with an easy pull-through area. A lovely wooded lot offers lots of seating around a campfire and a large deck area. If you prefer the indoors, there is a spacious living room with necessary amenities. The dining area has a table with four chairs plus an island with seating for three. Two bedrooms and full bath on the main level and one bedroom, a full bath and a sitting room upstairs. The sitting room has a pull out couch as well as ample room for an air mattress if desired. Less than ten minutes from downtown Huntingdon with access to endless activities and fun! Our standard is a 2-night minimum. On winter stays from November 1 to March 31, our rates are lower but 3-night minimum is required.

Summary: We rode bikes, fished, visited at the beach, and enjoyed a campfire at the rental house. Kids had a great time and wanted to stay longer. Saw lots of deer in the area. Got to do everything that we planned on doing.

Summary: Wonderful winter family gathering space in spite of the record low temperatures. Plenty of beds and well stocked with pots and pans for large family celebratory mealtimes. We braved the frigid cold to build a fire in the fire ring outside and walked down to the lake. Other times we just stayed warm inside and played a few of the hilarious board games. Our host was readily available to message with our few questions.

Summary: We were able to spend a peaceful and relaxing week with our Granddaughter and her Husband, and also enjoyed our morning visits from the local wildlife population.

Summary: The setting is terrific but the property does need some upgrades. Two of the sliding glass doors have signs to not open. Satellite dish is not hooked up. Probably the best place for people to gather is outside and unfortunately for us it rained most of the time, but there is no roof or awning. Everyone slept terribly because the beds are way too firm.

Summary: Loved watching the wildlife and family time around the fire. Only thing we wished we had was a gas grill. Beautiful house we’d definitely rent again!

Summary: Great location if you bring your boat and it's close to everything. The rental was very clean which is most important. Only needed to have towels provided and a dryer and it would be perfect. Would highly recommend and would rent again.

Summary: Thank you for renting to us. Your cottage is very cute and our little ones enjoyed watching the deer in the yard. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Please do not use this as a review because I have a few suggestions that I would not want to sound negative…just some hints for the owner. We were not aware that there was no washer/ dryer available to us. We had 4 little ones with swim suits and towels. It would be nice if that was specified in the listing and the closest laundromat noted in the binder. There are no mattress covers on the beds…just a thin sheet on the mattress. FYI…there is a tree right beside the fire pit that appears to be hollow. I would not want it to fall onto anyone.

Summary: We had a great time! The house was perfect, adults had the downstairs and all the teenagers had the upstairs. Liked the large porch and firepit. The pull through driveway was a bonus. It is a short distance to Snyder's Run Boat Launch. We enjoyed taking morning walks to the launch. Loved this property-We enjoyed our stay- We will be back!!!

Summary: a very nice stay and would return Our only ask would be better lighting in the dining area for cards/game playing, it is a bit dark due to the trees and lack of an overhead light. Other than that, excellent property....enjoyed our stay!
