A wonderful family country escape with all the accommodations of home! Set on two sprawling acres in the beautiful Berkshire mountains, you will feel a world away while having all of the Berkshires right at your fingertips.
The first floor has a large guest suite with fireplace, family room with large sectional and 60-inch SmartTV, sun room with sectional, office/den, eat-in kitchen, half bath, and washer-dryer. The second floor has a twin room with trundles (sleeps 4), a queen guest room with a full-size crib, a full bathroom, and a master with a king size bed and its own en-suite bathroom. The basement has a king-size Room and Board pull-out couch, a futon, a 40'' SmartTV, and plenty of toys to keep the kids entertained. All four bedrooms have window-unit AC for summer months.
The home has two large patios which in the summer include an outdoor couch, table and chairs, grill, lounge chairs, and hammock. Enjoy your coffee while overlooking the heated private pool and feel a world away! In the winter, you are a short drive to the area's best skiing, and the 2-acre property provides plenty of private space to enjoy snow and outdoor activities.
The home comes equipped with high-speed internet and a Google mesh network throughout the home, making working or home-schooling remotely a breeze.
The home is situated perfectly amongst the Berkshires' best attractions. A 3-minute drive to downtown West Stockbridge and Olivia's Overlook; 7 minutes to Tanglewood/Kripalu;10 minutes to downtown Lenox; 10 minutes to Bousquet; 20 minutes to Butternut; and 30 minutes to Catamount. It's also 15 minutes from Pittsfield—the seat of, and largest city in, Berkshire County; and 20 minutes from Great Barrington. So much is right at your fingertips!
Pool open Memorial Day through Labor Day. No children are allowed unattended in the pool at any time. Swimming in the pool is done 100% at your own risk. All renters must execute a pool waiver in order to use the pool during your rental. A set amount of propane to heat pool is included in your stay; if you exceed set amount you will be responsible for any propane charged at the market rate.
Monthly rates and use of Peloton bike available for experienced riders. Message owner for details.

Summary: My extended family met in the Berkshires for new years and stayed in this beautiful home. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do but best of all was cozy and felt like home. Karen was exceedingly kind and generous with her time and we didn’t want for anything during our stay. We hope to stay again!

Summary: House was perfect size for our family, truly enjoyed everything. Location is also very close to local amenities. Summary: House was not clean. Pool was suppose to be open for the time we stayed, and pool company came and closed pool. Outdoor furniture dirty , property not kept up. Trash left in garage when we arrived, trash pails in middle of the road when we arrived on a Sat. Trash pail in kitchen dirty and frame around pails dirty-we cleaned. Told owner and she thanked us. I think if you pay for cleaning services in your fee, the house should be clean. Master bedroom, bugs-I realize it's the country, but on the floor were bait things, under table in bedrooms, hair ties, and other things, Who ever does the cleaning for this very nice owner -does a terrible job. Over all the house was nice and big. Everything we used in the kitchen needed to be washed. I suggest that owner makes sure when someone leaves that pans are left clean. Some people are pigs. Very disappointed when pool was closed and disappointed that the outside deck and furniture was not clean to use. Stores and restaurants are far away. If you go off season like we did, be prepared that most places are closed Sun thru Wed. Owner very nice., she did let us check in 1 hour before our time.

Summary: We had such a lovely stay. It was comfortable for all six of us. Our hosts were very easy to reach if we had questions and the house was very close to so many great Berkshire spots. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: We stayed in Richmond over Memorial Day with another family, both of us with young kids. The house was perfect for our group, with enough bedrooms and play space for everyone to relax together. The pool was a bonus as it happened to be warm enough to enjoy and the adults enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Location was perfect as we were able to easily explore West Stockbridge, Lenox and Great Barrington with just short drives, with easy access to restaurants, shops & playgrounds. Would happily come back.

Summary: Our stay was lovely and very comfortable. The house was beautiful and welcoming. There was plenty of space to accommodate each of the families staying for the week. The location of the house was accessible to a variety of amenities and restaurants. It was an easy drive over to Jiminy Peak and Ski Butternut. We had a small problem with the electricity and water but Karen responded quickly and we were able to resolve without any issues. We highly recommend staying here and would come back again!
