Summary: Found the property without issues, but parking was challenging. The parking in front was open, but stairs were dark and railing was sketchy. The tenant attached to property was polite, but could never seem to have his vehicle parked in a manner that would allow us to park in the back reserved spot. The tenant also had the living room remote control which made us wonder if he had access to the property. The actual house is old - which is not bad. We could tell it had many upgrades, but the walls need painting, mouldings need repair. One of the door handle plates actually fell off. The downstairs bedrooms were cold, but there were plenty of extra blankets. The front room was noisy and was brighter that the face of the sun in the morning - needs curtains! The main level bathroom had a separate heater, but it was super cold regardless. The kitchen was fine, but the frig water filter had not been changed out. the fireplace was great, but the LR did not have comfortable seating for 5. I am sure this is a wonderful place in spring/summer given the lake access. I would not come here again in winter. Overall, it met our basic needs, but not worth the price. I would have opted for a couple of hotel room instead.

Summary: The property is clean and comfortable. The lake across the road is fun. The gas station two houses down is convenient and the people there were very nice. The only thing I wish I would have known is that part of the house is boarded up and made into a separate apartment. One night we heard voices and we figured it out in kind of a spooky way. Just wish I would have known it was a shared residence. Otherwise, it is a great place to stay.

Summary: Enjoying the pedal boat ride. Walked to the convenient store and bought some bait for fishing at the dock. Beautiful view of the lake
