3 Bedroom House in San Luis, Freeport

Come relax in our Seaside Hideaway located in Treasure Island. Just a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach as well as immediate access to the best fishing on the gulf coast. This home is the perfect destination for family and friends to relax and be on "island time". Get some sun in the lounge chairs, chill under the pergola or fish right off of the back deck - there are plenty of outdoor activities to choose from. You can also bring your boat for the quickest access to bays and blue water.
The space
Seaside Hideaway is a 3 bd 2 ba home with an open floor plan and lots of charm. You will love the natural sunlight filling the house thanks to the large windows on both sides of the common area rooms. Wood floors and exposed ceiling beams compliment the updated kitchen. Washer and dryer available onsite for your use. The large top floor deck has a gas grill, (4) lounge chairs, and a lighted pergola with a sectional couch and corner bar layout. On the ground level there is a large covered area under the house and deck to relax and get a reprieve from the midday sun. There is also a ~40ft fishing dock with two large benches and a firepit. If you decide to bring your own boat, there are cleats installed to tie off on the dock or in the open covered slip. We also have a lighted fish cleaning table with sink…be sure to bring your filet knife!
Guest access
The entire living space and deck are on the top floor of the home. The middle and bottom floors are for owner storage only and not included in the rental. The driveway is huge and can easily accommodate multiple cars and boat trailer.
Other things to note
There are two staircases to walk up, so the home is not wheelchair accessible.
We have one security camera facing the driveway to alert when people have arrived. We have one security camera facing our boat that is in the far boat slip. Neither camera faces or records any common or private area.

Summary: We really enjoyed the home and the area. Everything was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: We were messaged until we could come in a half a day early because the house was clean and ready. Once we arrived there was visible dirt on furniture. The cushions on the couch were dirty and extremely worn. The floors were dirty and I had to sweep them myself, and unfortunately, the dustpan was so shaped I couldn’t even sweep and had to pick it up with a wet paper towel. However, the view was wonderful and we enjoyed the deck on top, but had to smell the sewage from the time we got to the house. It was coming up out of the grass next to the house. The beds are comfortable, but the listing said it slept 12. But the fall out couch mattress was so and no one could sleep on it, and there was no actual futon in the living room as listed. I hate living reviews as the homeowner was very kind, but the house was not ready for us and it was not up to par for the price we paid for the home.

Summary: Perfectly located! This property met all of our expectations. The grandkids had an awesome time fishing in the canal. The adults had an awesome time lounging on the extremely large upper deck. Wonderful memories were made here. Will definitely be back!

Summary: We enjoyed our 4 night stay so much. It was a quiet relaxing, fishing and catching getaway. The host was very responsive and kind. Great house, linens were great, beds were great. Everything we needed was there!

Summary: We have fished that area for the last 20 years so we are well versed with the bay system. The house was perfect for my family and a few friends. We spent a lot of time on both decks. The filet table was put to good use with cleaning fish and eating both blue and stone crabs. We would definitely use the home again.

Summary: It was beautiful and clean! The only problem we had was the drill is falling apart on the inside… if you plan a trip don’t plan to grill! We had several grill meals, but were able to make them inside!! Other than that it’s a great place and have no complaints at all!! Would stay again ❤️❤️
