Positive: Ren Chalet was perfect for us. It is spacious, clean and provided for all of our needs. The host, Taka-san, was amazing! Even before checking in, he helped us by providing information and tips for shipping our bags from Haneda Airport to his hotel (Pension Belnina), which is situated directly across the road from Ren Chalet. During arrival, he warmly greeted us, gave us the door code, and provided great information on the amenities, access to free ski shuttle services, and local shops/restaurants all within walking distance to Ren Chalet. As we departed, Taka-san took great care in delivering us to the bus station and preparing our bags to ship to our next hotel stay in Tokyo.

Summary: Ren Chalet was a lovely, upscale location with an exceptionally helpful host

Negative: The vacuum cleaner is not suitable fir thus kind if floor. The stair making noise when using. When going near the fridge, I smell a gas.
