Perfectly charming both inside and out, this 1940s ski cabin enjoys a prime North Conway location - tucked away among the trees and within easy walking distance of the heart of downtown and the base of Cranmore Mountain Resort. Built during the development of the ski area and thoughtfully renovated since then, this cabin is full of vintage ski decor, classic furnishings, and patterned textiles that exude character and warmth. Come home from a day on the slopes or a fall drive on the Kancamagus Highway to toss your socks in the washer/dryer, relax in the warmth of the pellet stove, and get a head start on dinner in the fully appointed kitchen (complete with a Keurig coffee maker). Come summer, you'll have a lovely patio where you can barbecue on the gas grill and dine in the shade of the surrounding trees.

Summary: We loved this place. Everything was extremely clean and well stocked. Nice, quiet road but close to everything. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Our only minor gripe is the main listing says pellet stove available for winter months - we went third week in November - it wasn't until after we booked and paid that we were told the pellet stove is December forward :( we were looking forward to this feature.

Summary: Warm, clean and cozy in size and decor; well thought out in conveniences in this older cabin /home. Lots of windows to view nature. Nice decor to reflect the surrounding area! Love the one level, 1940’s style in parts of the home. Bathroom updated. Bedding wonderful! Everything you need is on this house. Cable/internet was great! Steps to house manageable, no railing. Love the size of this property! Great for one couple. One wish? Would have liked to be able to use pellet stove as temps were chilly. Vacasa rep we dealt with to help w heat was really very nice. Will be back!!!!

Summary: This cottage is very clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and near all our activities. The only complaint is the property manager, Parker, did not respond to a question we had about the place.

Summary: Clean small kitchen with all the necessary equipment. Large main bedroom with king size bed. Sofa bed in the lounge room. A few extra warm blankets & doonas. Used them all as the weather cooled. Close to town to walk in. Washing machine lint filter very choked & needing a good clean. Front door key really stiff, cumbersome & difficult to use.

Summary: It's a beautiful little house in a perfect location to be close to everything, yet not right on top of it. We were here in a shoulder season, so that will have helped us with zero traffic to Cranmore. It's a nice, short walk to downtown and easily accessible. We'll definitely be back.

Summary: Great location, have been to this rental before and we really like it. House was spotless when we arrived. We will return... Only glitch was TV. Suggest that you leave card with instruction for how to turn TV/Cable on. There were three remotes there, not obvious which ones were needed and button sequence to get standard programming news, sports etc. We did eventually get TV turned on but it was a long , iterative process. Shouldn't be that challenging... otherwise great stay and 5 stars!
