This charming beach house is the perfect getaway for all. Located right on Lake Michigan, you are just a short walk over the sandy dune to beautiful Sheridan Beach!
The home features wood floors throughout the main level, renovated kitchen with granite counters and breakfast bar, wet bar, stainless steel appliances and all kitchen furnishings. Updated bathrooms. On the main level, there are 2 bedrooms / 1 bath, dining room, living room, sunroom and kitchen. The upper level features 3 beds / 1 bath. There is one additional bedroom, family room, full bathroom and washer/dryer on the lower level. Huge deck with patio furniture / gas grill overlooks the lake and amazing sunsets. Backyard features turf area for play and a putting green. Parking for 4 cars in driveway.
Nearby attractions include the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore with hiking, swimming, horseback riding, picnicking and fishing, Lighthouse outlet mall, museums, indoor and outdoor miniature golf, numerous golf courses, Washington Park Zoo, tennis courts, fruit farms, outdoor water park, Blue Chip Casino, Four Winds Casino . Restaurants are numerous including both fine dining and family dining .
Please no parties or events. This is definitely not a party house! We love our home and want to keep it in great condition, as such we have a strict 10 person maximum (including any visitors).
Maui Mat / Lily Pad rental available for $150/week. Also, please ask about baby gear available if you are bringing little ones!
**Please note: There are no pets allowed on the property, however, we do have a family golden retriever that spends time at this home. While our cleaning crew does an excellent job, we like to make our guests aware in the event anyone in your group is severely allergic to dogs.

Summary: This house was wonderful for 3 generations of family from teenagers to grandparents. Great private beach with easy access. Super accessible location. Easy travel to Michigan City restaurants and New Buffalo. Very nice house with great beach vibe and lots of sleeping space/bedrooms.

Summary: This was a perfect summer home! This house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our cooking needs. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of towels. The deck overlooking the dune and the lake were my favorite part. The evening sunsets were so picturesque. We will definitely be back!

Summary: We had a wonderful experience renting from Susan. We had 7 adults, a 5 year old, a 2 year old and a 1 year old. We had cribs, a pack and play, a high chair and all kinds of toys for our little ones. The house was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the sunsets from the deck and the beach was just a minute walk from the back deck. The kitchen was generously furnished with everything you needed. We had a the best time and hope we can stay again in the future. Thanks for sharing this lovely home with us!!

Summary: Not many places one can walk the beaches of South West Lake Michigan, this home is the perfect location for those walk longs on the beach. The home is adorably decorated, nothing more one could ask for to ensure a lovely beachside vacation. Highly recommend. We dined at Farina's Supper Club , Church Brewery, and Greenbush Brewery which also exceeded our expectations.

Summary: Cute little house that is well appointed for guests of all ages. Hope to stay again next year! We had a slight hiccup at check in that was resolved really quickly so we were really pleased with the responsiveness of the manager/owner.

Summary: We had a great stay at this property. It had everything we needed and then some bonus things like baby high chair and toys for the kids! It was nice not to have to bring beach towels either! The beach was excellent as well. Kitchen had plenty of utensils/pots/pans to make it easy to cook in.

Summary: Great beach vibes and children loved all board games provided. Not from this state so not as familiar with water currents. Would of loved a outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows which was not allowed here. Still great time!
