You will not be disappointed when you arrive to relax in this lovely home with 2,200 square feet of renovated, golf-inspired living space. Property has gone through a major renovation including 2 new bathrooms, entirely repainted, new carpeting/flooring throughout, new décor/furnishings, etc. Very few rentals are available this close to golf course.
The open concept main floor includes the living room, kitchen and dining area with huge windows to view the golf course and those magnificent sunsets. The main floor also has a screen room in back where you can relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy nature in the secluded back yard. On the upper level; you will find the primary bedroom (with a king bed) with private bathroom (with walk-in shower) and 2 more guest bedrooms (2 double beds in one and a queen bed in the other) and another shared bathroom (with a walk-in shower). The lower walk out level has a private bedroom (with queen bed) with its own outside access door, another bathroom (with tub/shower combo) and the mudroom/entry areas including patio and hot tub access.
Now let’s talk about the outdoor space. Clearbrook Cottage is located on a 1 acre lot with mature trees and landscaping making you feel secluded by nature and offers 2 patio spaces to enjoy. The property has a 16x32 salt water pool, HEATED between 82-84 degrees and open mid May- early/mid October (opening 5/15/25 for 2025 season, closing 10/12/25). For May and October rentals - confirm pool will be open for your stay prior to booking as it based on weather. There is also plenty of space and seating poolside for guests who just want to kick back and relax. Pool toys and floats are provided to help you kick up the fun factor. The property features a 4 person outdoor hot tub/spa to relax in after a round of golf and open year round. Clearbrook Cottage also has an outdoor wood burning firepit so get ready for ghost stories and s'mores! And let's not miss that in the wintertime, the Fifth hole at Clearbrook across the street turns into a popular sledding hill and destination for fun in the snow!
Other highlights include WIFI throughout, streaming services available on all TVs, in ceiling speaker sound system, and many provided convenience items to help you to just drop your bags and enjoy! Note that the garage has a max clearance of 70" so primarily accommodates cars only. Larger vehicles can be parked in driveway.
The safety and well-being of our guests is our top priority. We have instituted enhanced cleaning protocols using available guidance, which includes deep cleaning and sanitizing even more areas and surfaces and textiles throughout the property, paying extra attention to high touch and traffic areas like doorknobs, furniture, etc. Please also note this is a pet free property. No parties or events are allowed.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this magnificent property! Once again, working with Brett and property manager Matt made the process seamless. We were able to drop our bags and slither into the salt water pool..the house was well stocked with necessities making our visit so relaxing. If you can get away this is the place..if I haven't reserved it already..lol. I did feel the overwhelming desire to learn to GOLF..maybe next visit!

Summary: This house was a great space for our annual family vacation which is our adult children and one grandchild. Nice size rooms. Lots of toys for our 3 1/2 year old grandson. The pool and hot tub were nice. Lots of glasses, dishes and silverware in the kitchen. There were basic spices and pots and pans. My biggest suggestion to the property owner is to have more kitchen towels. There were three small cheap towels as kitchen towels which for 7 of us, required an almost daily wash in the washing machine and felt wasteful. With that being said, that seems like a minor thing compared to the rest of the house and accommodations. We had to reach out to the property manager a couple of times but he was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the proximity to Saugatuck and Douglas and were able to enjoy the beach, towns and home.

Summary: The perfect house for our family, from the pool, to the screened porch to the backyard fire pit. The house is beatiful…newly remodeled, clean & well stocked (from pool toys to beach equipment.) 5 min to charming downtown Saugatuck, and 10 min to Oval beach. It was all we hoped for and more. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for a great week!

Summary: We had a great time. The house was perfect for our family traveling with 3 kids. We appreciated having the pack & play and high chair on site, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to make and serve meals, and the house was very tastefully done. The backyard was amazing! It felt very secluded when we were hanging out and the pool & hot tub were a hit with the kids. Also, all the extra pool accessories and toys at the house were great. For our first time visiting Saugatuck, I don’t think we could of asked for a much better experience.

Summary: Fantastic stay at Clearbrook Cottage! Cottage looks great after all the renovations and was just the right size for our family of 8 adults and 3 small children. Well stocked kitchen for meals in. Perfect location for day trips to Oval beach, Saugatuck, Holland, Grand Haven and South Haven. Also went Blueberry picking at Bluestar Farms. Nice yard for little ones. We loved the screened in porch. We hope to return for another stay!
