Our lease is located in Normandy, in the beautiful department of Manche in Brucheville. This small village is in the heart of Regional Natural Park of Cotentin and Bessin, near Sainte Mere Eglise and the Landing Beaches. You will be surrounded by beautiful countryside, pleasant and quiet for a relaxing holiday.
This charming house has retained its small turret but not the formerly existing thatched roof. Installed in 2013 to receive between 4 and 6 people, it consists of 2 bedrooms (one mezzanine), a lounge, a dining room with kitchenette, a bathroom and toilet.
Outside, you can have a laundry room, a terrace and a small green area.

Summary: We spent a wonderful week in this cosy house. The house is very clean and all important necessary things are there. Also WLAN was running, there is a internet connection. Only no mobile phone connection is in this area. For us (2 adults and 2 kids) the space was enough. The bathroom a not luxurious but sufficient. Parking in the yard was not possible for our car (to steep access) but directly located opposite the house is a large and quiet parking place. So this is not a problem. Washing machine is outside the house in a separate room. For us this was fine, because no quite from the machine in the house. The garden is well looked and peaceful. All important tourist attractions in the area can be reached by car within a reasonable timeframe. This house has a very good price/performance ratio and we can absolutely recommend it. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Summary: We booked this gite to enable us to tour the Normandy area and visit the WW2 landing beaches. It was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was kitted out well enough to do most of the meals you would want to prepare on holiday, had a nice garden to sit in and the bedrooms, although small were more than adequate. We grew to really love this place and were sad to leave. Hopefully one day we will return......

Summary: We had a very nice stay. Everything was as described. The surrounding garden was huge and well maintained. Central location, in an hour you can reach very much, Le Havre, Étretat, Rouen, the Seine loops, Dieppe.... The landlords were very nice and accommodating.

Summary: This immaculate country cottage was just what we were looking for in a place to stay while visiting the Normandy area. Florence welcomed us on arrival. Immediately we noticed that the whole place was spotless. It had a very well equipped kitchen so that you can actually cook if you wish to and there is a large dining area to enjoy your meals. The living room is cozy and the couch is comfortable as are the beds in the 2 upstairs bedrooms. Although we only used the double bed, you can easily sleep 4 people in this cottage. There is also a private outdoor space where you can eat a meal or just relax and take in the fresh country air. If you are looking to visit some of the Normandy beaches, Utah beach is only a 10 minute drive. The Battle of Normandy Museum in Bayeaux was outstanding and only a 40 minute drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would recommend it to others.

Summary: We have been here for 5 nights and it was great. The house was larger than we thought and had all things we needed! Very clean and well suited in the area! 10 minutes from Utah Beach and close to St Mere Eglise. All was very well arranged and the owner of the house was very nice and helpfull! The weather was fine. I would recommend this nice house to people who want to visit the beautiful Normandie!!
