Negative: the place was very nice, well located, next to a bus stop (we didn't have car) but the host was not flexible at all. We were two friends (in our 50-60s) and the flat had 2 single beds and one double bed. She wanted us to take the double bed because taking two beds was considered "extra". She then charged 10 euros extra for the bed (cash) and said if we didn't clean the kitchen, she was going to charge us €30 (we used it only for heating water for instant coffee). She didn't take credit cards and when i offered a bank transfer, she said bank transfers from Spain don't always get through (which of course is not true; there's IBAN in Europe!). Place was good, but the host wasn't; she treated us like she was doing us a favor for letting us stay there and the price per night was a fair price (€90).

Positive: My wife, daughter (who is a ski racer) and her coach book Residence Baumgarten because she has a ski race close to the pension. Unfortunately, one of the van tire blew out about 4km from Residence Baumgarten. It was getting late, so they called the manager and a lady name Nicole answered. She drove and met them at the incident site and help with calling for the tow truck and help transport my wife and daughter and their stuff to the pension. Since it happened on a Saturday night the tire shop will not be open the next day. So the van can only be fixed by Monday. Nicole was very concern that my daughter will not be able to attend the race the next morning that she offered my wife her car for her to drive up to the ski slope. She is the kindest and warmest soul you'll ever encounter. We are so very thankful for Nicole's kindness and generosity. We will definitely stay at Residence Baumgarten when we are in the area and would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Again Grazie Mille Nicole!
