Negative: The pool was closed and our room didn't have a sofa couch as advertised. The staff was nice and tried to find another accommodation, but to no avail. The two main reasons why I booked this hotel was so the kids could swim off energy after spending 8 hours in the car, and so we could have 3 separate beds, neither of which we got.

Positive: The front desk associate Mark. I believe his name is. Was above and beyond he really deserves a raise or promotion something. He made us feel so welcome. The room was nice and clean.
Negative: The pool was closed, so that was very disappointing and one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The kids were supremely disappointed. I understand that it was being renovated but there was no warning about this ahead of time. Or I would have chosen a different hotel for the price point.

Positive: A big suite with 2 room. We were 4 people and had plenty of room. There are also 2 bathroom who made it easier to get organized. The kitchen is big and have everything you need.
Negative: Coffee maker didn't work well

Negative: Only a few issues like the pool not being available and not being told it was out of service. Also the outside recreation area being used late at night disturbed our sleep.

Positive: Based on my needs the location was great. They also could have offered other breakfast meat options other than pork sausage which makes me think they don’t care if some folks don’t eat pork.
Negative: The bed felt horrible. It was a queen when I booked a king but was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite because I arrived late and they gave me and my cousins rooms away and gave us what they wanted without warning. I rather had a comfortable king bed than a 1 bedroom suite because we arrived late. They also split us up on separate floors when we asked to be next to each other or at least on the same floor. The TV in the bedroom did not work very well at all.

Negative: Gloomy halls and elevators… dogs in many rooms. Most of the guests were men with construction jobs(apparently) which made for uncomfortable situation. It was a terrible location, surrounded by malls and no ambience in area.
Summary: It was clean and filled the necessary accommodations of my trip to Scranton, but I won’t stay there again.
