Located on a quiet street in the Boulders Golf Resort, this 2 bedroom casita can accommodate 6 people with the use of the Queen size sofa bed in the great room (King bed in master; 2 twins in guest room). The design of the house offers privacy in many ways: a walled courtyard in the front, the master bedroom and guest bedroom are separated by the great room which serves as the gathering area for the home. There is a wall mounted TV in the master bedroom and another free standing TV in the great room. The guest room has 2 twin beds and its own bathroom with tub/shower and walk in closet. The master bedroom is very large and has a desk in front of the rear window in addition to several dressers, a blanket chest and 3 chairs. The master bathroom was completely remodeled in 2021 and the pictures show the results. Off the bathroom is a large, carpeted, walk in closet and beyond the shower is the laundry room. The great room is fully furnished and includes the sofa bed. There is a dining table and 6 chairs on the right front part of the house and a fully equipped kitchen. The great room (including the dining area and kitchen are tiled ; both bedrooms are carpeted.
The Casita is fully furnished, complete with dishes, cookware, and linens and is turn key ready for your visit. Cox wifi and basic cable are standard.
There is a patio to the rear of the house with a table and chairs and the front enclosed courtyard is equipped with grill and dining table with 6 chairs. While there is no pool, there is access to neighborhood pools and the resort pool by the golf/tennis club; there is no fitness room but again access is possible if the guest wishes to pay additionally for the spa fitness room; there is no audio system in the casita but there is a Bose radio. There is a 2 car garage and garage parking is mandated by the HOA.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the Casita at the Boulders. The location was great and our doggies really enjoyed the enclosed courtyard. A word of caution to those traveling with doggies - watch out for the Teddybear Chollas - they can attach themselves pretty easily. The property itself is older but well maintained. The master bathroom has been updated and the shower was very nice. My husband was happy that there was a desk in the master bedroom since he was working a bit most days. The Boulders is an older property overall, but it is also well maintained. I do wish that there had been more walking/biking paths within the community - we always had to walk on the roads. The location was close to restaurants in Carefree/Cave Creek, mountain biking at the Pima Dynamite Trailhead, hiking at Pinnacle Peak and Tom Thumb as well as numerous golf courses.

Summary: The home was a lovely and a very comfortable choice and the location was fabulous as it offered many ammenties in a close proximity and met all of our needs. The owners of the property were terrific, very kind and most helpful in a prompt manner when we experienced internet service challenges. They were wonderful in their attempts to find solutions to the unexpected issue and very attentive to us as their visitors in any way needed. I strongly recommend this property to anyone and again the owners were kind, attentive, thoughful and our stay was enjoyable. The golf course setting was beautiful and the boulders surrounding the area made the location and the sunsets wonderful to preview. Great place to relax and enjoy.Thank you Suzanne, thank you very much!

Summary: Wonderful casita with a lot of room and beautiful setting. Very central to lots to do in Cave Creek, Carefree and Scottsdale and great quiet neighborhood to walk or just enjoy sitting outside. Owner very gracious and accessible.
