Summary: I went with this place for the pictures and descriptions given, not knowing what I was going to walk into. Overall, the house is abundant with room, however, with that said, as soon as you walk into the house, the online pictures compared to reality are definitely different. After my family and I settled on who was staying where, we started our inspections and was quite disturbed with the cleanliness of this place. Cobwebs/dust found on ceiling fans, lights burned out, dust throughout, rugs in the restrooms were filthy and had to be washed, carpenter ants on the first level in the main bedroom we had to spray every day (I’m sure they were upstairs as well since I saw them crawling on the outside walls). Now to the outside. The griddle on the first floor deck (to the right of the house) was absolutely nasty. I took pics of before and after it took two rolls of paper towels to clean. Thank goodness I have one and therefore know how to clean them. Not going into details because it was pretty gross. Now, to the lower deck gas grill, I left it alone after I opened it and saw a burnt, molded hot dog. Good news is there is a bigger, covered gas grill on the first floor deck, attached to the living room area. It was a little dirty but after a good burn and grate scrub, it was usable. We had to clean the decks off to enjoy sitting out, but wasn’t too bad, about an hour to sweep and wipe down. Walking down to the river, I noticed some of the deck is in need of repair from rot, so be careful. Overall, stay wasn’t bad. It’s a quiet neighborhood, peaceful surroundings, and nice boat dock to swim/fish from. If you want to gather outside, play music, be a little loud, this place is not for you due to the “no loud noises rule”, hence no kids under a certain age and no pets. This is all listed under the house description, so I’m not trying to discourage anyone from this place. If a little TLC was put into this house, it wouldn’t be a bad place (and worth the money) to stay, but I didn’t go on vacation to clean up a place we paid good money to use. When you’re charging a cleaning fee, you expect a place to be clean, not having to clean when you arrive.

Summary: The pictures do no do justice to how large the home is. There is room for multiple couples to spread out and have their own space.

Summary: The cabin was perfect and had plenty of room for all of us to spend time together comfortably! So nice being right on the water. The outdoor deck areas could use a bit of cleaning and the lighting inside the house isn’t great but overall we had an excellent stay. Owners were very responsive!

Summary: We had a great weekend getaway with some friends. Nice location. Was disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. When we arrived food was on the floor, many bugs (dead & alive) we’re all over the upstairs, rocks/dirt on the carpet, inches of dust and cobwebs on the ceiling fans and ceilings. Bedding did not seem like it had been cleaned. Had to wash dishes before we could use them because they were so dirty. Spent a lot of time vacuuming and cleaning before we even began and feel like we left it cleaner than when we got there. Very steep hill getting down to the lake and not a great dock to just sit and hang out on, and there is no room anywhere else to sit but the dock by the water. Overall we had a good trip and didn’t expect it to be perfect but would have liked to see it better especially for the high cleaning fee.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a little awkward, though, since none of them had full doors to completely close off the rooms. But that did not deter us from having a nice weekend getaway to celebrate my husband's bday.

Summary: What a great cabin for a weekend getaway. Everything you need is right there. Communication was fast simple and easy. Decks on every level of the house and fishing on the dock was a blast. From fishing poles to grills to fire pits, this cabin had it all. We had a great weekend!

Summary: There are many beds to sleep a lot of people, however the rooms do not have walls on all four sides, and some don’t have a door. The slope to the lake is so steep we didn’t take our kayaks down. Unique layout of the house, seemed odd.
