Summary: This property was perfect for an overnight stay to visit my cadet at West Point. A nice quiet location and a comfortable, spacious cottage.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this nicely decorated clean, quaint, and cozy cottage. I especially liked spending time reading in the sunroom. It was conveniently located to many places to visit (Bear Mountain State Park, Pride of the Hudson, Brotherhood Winery, and West Point). It did lack some of the amenities we are typically used to finding in a vacation rental (electric coffee pot; hand towels; toilet tissue holder/towel rack; and hangers in the closet).

Summary: Overall our stay was nice and we enjoyed the home. Sadly it appeared they were very under prepared for our stay. Minimal amenities like very few cooking utensils, no spices or oil, limited pans, plates or silverware, no toilet paper or paper towels, and sadly no extra bedding or towels. The owner was upfront about their bathroom renovations but it was done so poorly it was a bit of a hindrance to our stay. The yard again, has so much potential but has not been taken care of. Construction trash/material everywhere, natural debris all over, not safe for children at all. For the cost, this home was very poorly taken care of and we had to buy many extra supplies to just enjoy living normally for a weekend.

Summary: Property is nice, master bed is very comfortable. We didn't spend much time at the property. One thing that needs improving is a handle on the exterior of the front door. It would help immensely when leaving to aid in locking the house.

Summary: Beautiful cottage in Hudson Valley - the property was just as listed in the images online. We had a 2 year old and a 5 year old with us and there was plenty of space to put our toddler's pack and play in the large main bedroom. Our five year old stayed in the second bedroom which worked out great. The host was very responsive to questions that we had and easy to communicate with.

Summary: The place was just as the pictures showed. It appears to have been recently redone. All very modern & new. Perhaps missing some of the touches of a "lived in" home (such as towels hooks, extra bathroom soap or a tea kettle), but the place was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs :)
