Cabin in very primitive. Great views of the River walk to several beaches.
Kayaking, fishing, hiking. Bird watching, hunting, snow mobileing. Volleyball and frisbee golf. 25 miles from Crater Lake National Park. Quiet peaceful enjoyment. Cabin has two lofts and a futon that makes into full size bed. Lofts is for one child only or one adult. It is very rustic. Check in is recommended before 8:30 pm as it is very seclude. Cabin does have a BBQ gas grill for cooking. Water table is provided for clean up. Four lawn chairs are provided and a picnic table. There is a sitting area at the top of the property to utilize the view of the river. Bring your own coolers and linens, towels etc. There is a dollar general and two grocery stores nearby.All wheel drive as the drive way is very steep. Porta potty on the property. Propane heater provided when temperatures drop!

Summary: First off, the property is gorgeous and the river view is serene. Kathy provides lawn chairs, bbq and other games for guests. Kathy was friendly. She told me everything was set up and ready to go. When I walked in it was fairly clean (floors were a little gritty with dirt but everything else was good). However, I didn’t see any bedding, blankets or anything of the sort. I was road-tripping so i didn’t have those essentials, but I thought maybe the nights didn’t get that cold and I could just wear a few layers. Wrong. And unfortunately this completely ruined my stay. I froze. The little cabin is drafty and there is no space heater provided, nor blankets, nor pillows, nor bedding. This place could be so much better if a little more effort was put into making the inside a TAD more comfortable. I even considered going out to my car to warm it up and sleep in there. I just didn’t want to waste the gas/battery. If guests are to bring their own blankets and what not, this has to be said in the listing. Now I’ve learned Oregon summer nights can get freaking COLD. My intent for this review is for Kathy to see it and hopefully learn from it. It really is an amazing property and has a lot of potential. Unfortunately this one experience of freezing and not being able to sleep was the standout here. Also, the listing says beaches, but most people think sand when it comes to a beach (from my experience). These are just sides of the River bed that are accessible.

Summary: Beautiful setting!! Right on the river with gorgeous view of the surrounding areas! Kathy was an absolute joy and made sure we were taken care of!! Definitely do again if through area!!

Summary: What an amazing stay, the view is amazing and the barn doors give such a great feel when inside! Such sweet hosts with easy check in/out. Definitely recommend 👍
