Positive: Well equipped. Lovely and warm. Quiet location. Attractive furnishings.
Negative: The pillows were the most uncomfortable that I’ve ever slept on and I don’t consider myself to be fussy! They contained separate lumps of wadding and were just awful sadly. I have to say that it stopped me getting a good night’s sleep and after a couple of nights, I had to buy had to replacements 😴

Positive: Location was just fabulous. Very rural and quiet. Central for St Andrews/Cupar/Crail/Anstruther. It had a fully enclosed small paved garden which was fantastic as we had dogs. This alone would make us book again but be careful as there is a wall in the garden lower on the other side. A curious dog may fall over the wall as ours did. The cottage was well stocked with utensils etc. The bed was comfortable. It was all very clean. The key entry was easy and it was an end terrace which offered privacy. Excellent heating. It was cold outside and very warm inside. The heating is easy to use. It was compact and perfect for us as two adults and possibly could accommodate two children. It had two bedrooms but more than two adults would be a very tight squeeze and not comfortable. There is a local restaurant but it is expensive. There are plenty of others within short driving distances. The wifi is free and good. You could easily work from there. We would definitely stay again.
Negative: Our only issue was the size of the car parking space next to the cottage. We have a large SUV which was a very tight squeeze especially as you are very close to the driveway of the opposite house. A smaller car would be fine and there is another larger space a short walk away.
Summary: Lovely cosy cottage. Small but perfectly formed!

Positive: The property was finished to a high standard, it had everything we needed in it for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The cottage has character in a quiet corner of beautiful rolling countryside but within easy access to the beautiful East Neuk fishing villages and of course St.Andrews.
Negative: We loved everything about the property.
