Positive: The stunning historical building.If this was in England it would be a listed property to protect it and keep it safe for future generations to enjoy. It is one of the most beautiful buildings I have been lucky enough to stay in The pool was lovely, a great size but needs many more loungers ,when I stayed there were very few other guests but we all had to wait for a lounger to become available.
Negative: This is difficult to write because it was a mixed picture. The young boys running the hotel tried hard and were kind when the restaurant was unexpectedly closed ( it was advertised as having an open cafe and restaurant on the booking site but this was not true) but they are very young to be put in this position and inexperienced. It is disconcerting to find them sleeping all the time in the communal lounges. The 'cook' who seemed to live in the restaurant was incredibly rude to the young boys and then me.I had to order a pizza as there was no food available and this was a huge problem as the hotel is in a remote place and when the pizza man arrived he could not use my card. I tried to transfer money to his account when I returned but the bank would not allow it.I asked the hotel to help but they never responded. Be warned taxis do not want to come out this far, you need to have your own car and I did not- the miles listed as the location distance from the airport were not accurate

Positive: The place is absolutely amazing, and everything was great (The Moroccan style, the swimming pool, the room, the food) and also the staff. I can give it 100/10.

Positive: Breakfast was excellent. Lovely property (pool looks great for warm weather). Staff was friendly and helpful.
Negative: The 4 person room has 2 double-beds with one very large blanket over both beds. Perhaps normal, just not something we found practical for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Positive: The Riad is beautifully done, the bedrooms and bathroom are a really good size, the beds are very comfortable, the 2 female staff are so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The outside area is lovely I had breakfast on the pretty terrace, and the swimming pool is a lovely bonus. There is a table tennis table too. Ahd the owner is fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample, and the chicken tagine I had in the evenings was so good I had it 3 times…. Inside the lounge areas are spacious and comfortable. It is very quiet there too, and I liked being away from the centre of marrakech
Negative: There was nothing I didn’t like. Bear in mind you will need a car or be happy to get taxis though
