Positive: The Riad is amazing! The staff especially Hakim were incredible. We had a couple of early mornings and he packed us breakfast to take with us each time. On our final morning we needed to leave before breakfast and he also prepared breakfast for us easier than usual. The Riad is small with only 6 rooms which was lovely Nice and relaxing and quiet for our first child free adventure! Thank you Hakim and team
Negative: The only negative is the location. On the first day we were a bit skeptical about going back late or in the dark but after a couple of days it was ok and we felt safe.

Positive: Number 1 has to be Kharem (I’m not sure if that is how I spell his name correctly) - he made our experience 10/10, he was so friendly, kind, helpful and just an overall gentleman. The property was great, very central beside Badia Palace and a nice breakfast with comfortable rooms and rooftop seatings to chill at night with a bottle of beer. Also - great value for money.
Negative: I really can’t fault this place. The only minor thing I would suggest is to clean some of the insects that get in the pond (I understand this may be hard to do in summer)

Positive: It was so pretty. The decor was beautiful, the breakfast was lovely! It was also so peaceful. However the best part were the lovely staff. They went above and beyond to look after us, make us feel totally comfortable, safe and helped us with any arrangements.Haqim was so helpful, smiley and knowledgeable. Also was great at sorting taxis for us. Walking us back to the riad in the dark and sorting out our amazing hamman experience!
Negative: The walk to the riad, could put people off, but honestly, as soon as you are there, it is a little hidden oasis! Also there was a little problem with the boiler and hot water, but it got rectified quickly.
Summary: Beautiful hidden oasis. Amazing decor, peaceful surrounding and the most helpful lovely staff.

Positive: It's difficult to list all the things my friend and I loved about Riad Dar One. The location in Mellah was perfect for us. An easy walk into the heart of the medina yet far enough away that we enjoyed peaceful rest in the evenings. The rooms felt unique and cozy, and we really appreciated the A/C units that helped beat the June heat. But above everything else, our stay was extraordinary because of the kindness of the staff, especially Hakim. His patience giving directions, translating for us with a driver from another tour company, serving a bottle of wine on the rooftop, remembering how we take coffee/tea in the mornings-- and above everything else, coming to my friend's rescue when she got scared by a beetle in her room at midnight. We are still laughing about what she described as something pterodactyl-sized; Hakim just smiled and said "not that big!" and scooped it up for her. I would enthusiastically recommend Riad Dar One to anyone with plans to visit Marrakesh.
Negative: Honestly, we couldn't think of a thing we'd change. Other than perhaps staying even longer next time
Summary: I would rebook this in a heartbeat!
