Positive: The room had gorgeous wood work and a high ceiling, very spacious and comfortable, water was hot and the heater kept everything warm. I'm not a breakfast person, so i really apreciated the fresh orange juice and the tasty bowl of fruits. Staff were super nice and helpful. It was very rainy so we didn't get to enjoy the garden that much, they had open fire and heaters though
Negative: Reception was outside our room so we could listen when late guests made their check-in, went up the stairs and closed their windows. We stayed during winter, we were wearing warm clothes but the breakfast room was kind of cold, even with the heaters.

Positive: This Riad - with it's fabulous garden/restaurant - is a great place to stay in the heart of the medina. The rooms are very spacious and atmospheric; so are the terraces and the little library/chillroom. We loved the colorful en authentic furniture. The staff was very helpful and nice and the breakfast and dinners were so good that we didn't look elsewhere. The medina in Fez is the true Morocco and a world in itself. We hope to return one day.

Positive: Really really stunning - like staying in a palace. Oh and there's a tortoise who lives in the garden. If you're looking for directions, follow the signs to the RUINED GARDEN, the Riad is attached to the restaurant.

Positive: It was like going back in the past. There is a lot of history at this place, our family enjoyed it. It was very bizarre in a good way. Breakfast was good. The hosts were very helping, thank you guys! Restaurants also magical and a great addition.

Positive: Amazing service! Felt like being cared for by family. This Riad is ran by a group of young men who are being very attentive and helpful. We were greeted in the comfortable and amazing courtyard with an intro of what to do and what our needs were then shown upstairs to a large room and private bathroom. Then he took us on a tour of the riad. They have a cozy library opening into a beautiful garden patio surrounded by plants and flowers. We then headed to the rooftop to enjoy an amazing view of the Medina and surrounding mountains. The Lost Garden Restaurant is attached to the Riad and ran by the same people. After 10 days in Morocco, we so appreciated this great service. The waiters spoke English and French and took the time to explain things even though they were busy. The food was outstanding, no wonder they are fully booked in the evenings! The had a lamb tangine and lentil stew that we now want to replicate at home. We had to leave at 4 AM in the morning. They organized our transport to the hotel, walked us to meet our driver and provided us with a healthy breakfast to go and a fresh orange juice. Absolutely marvellous!
