Positive: This Riad exceeded our expectations. Stunning design and decor. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms were quiet and very comfortable. Roof terrace with views of Fez was excellent. We didn't have supper at the Riad but the breakfasts were excellent. This must be one of the best stays in Fez and we could not fault it. We have travelled extensively and it felt like a 5* experience.

Positive: Gorgeous historic riad with a beautiful courtyard, pool area and rooftop with amazing views of Fes. Delicious breakfast with local specialties. The room was comfortable with a regal bathroom area. The spa and massage was a wonderful way to refresh and recharge after a full day exploring the city. And the entire staff was helpful and friendly, we felt the warmth and hospitality from the moment we arrived. We will definitely return and tell all our friends about this perfect hidden gem.

What truly sets this place apart is the integrity and kindness of the hosts. We accidentally left behind our very expensive solitaire jewelry after checkout and had already traveled to another city. They promptly contacted us, informed us about the jewelry, and went above and beyond by coordinating with our driver to ensure it was safely returned to us. Their honesty and care meant so much to us, and we were incredibly grateful. Experiences like this are rare. Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Riad Laaroussa. The staff are exceptionally kind, friendly and always available for anything you might need. The riad is located right in the heart of the medina, making it very convenient for exploring Fes el-Bali. It is a beautifully restored historic palace in merinid style, with interiors that reflect great taste and careful attention to detail, fully in line with local tradition. One of the highlights is the peaceful inner courtyard filled with greenery, a perfect place to relax after wandering through the narrow streets of the old city. There is also a second courtyard with a fantastic heated pool, as well as a rooftop terrace offering wide views over the medina. The food is of high quality, with a thoughtful selection of both local and international dishes. Above all, Fez el-Bali itself is remarkable, one of the most beautiful ancient cities in the world, still authentic and not yet overwhelmed by mass tourism.

Positive: Centrally located in the fez, a private courtyard with art, orange trees and turtles await you. The rooftop restaurant with impeccable views. There is a hammam and pool located on the property too. The food was excellent and the wine selections paired well with the dinners. There was a shared living room off our bedroom. The staff light the fire for us when we arrived as it was cold and raining. And I still wear my complimentary slippers at home! It was a magical stay. Thank you for taking such good care of my daughter and I while we were there.

Positive: Incredible stay in Fez, easily one of the highlights of our trip. The room was massive and had the most comfortable bed we slept in over two weeks of traveling. The working fireplace was a great touch, and the staff went out of their way to have it set up for us both nights, which made the space feel even more special.
