Positive: Thank you for the most wonderful stay! You will not find a host more welcoming than Karima in all of Marrakech. She made us feel so welcome, answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations for a good Hammam and souqs to visit. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was taken care of. The riad itself is beautiful, a peaceful and quiet oasis within the very centre of the Medina. Everything is nearby and easily walkable. The rooms were comfortable and the riad is beautiful. Every morning Karima makes a beautiful breakfast - she makes the best tea in Marrakech, we tried it everywhere and none was as good as hers. Thoroughly recommend staying here, you’ll have a lovely time.

Positive: A warm and friendly welcome by Kassima started a wonderful stay at this beautiful place. Our room was heated (which is rare in Marrakech!), the bed was comfy, there were just the right amount of blankets, and there was a great peace in the common area where we had our breakfast each morning. Fresh pastries and juice, tea, coffee and more allowed us to wake fresh and steep out into the bustling activity which was just a few little alleys away. This place was the perfect distance away to be quiet and peaceful with birds chirping but close enough to run out and be in the middle of the markets and snake charmers within minutes! This is the perfect combination of proximity and peace.

Positive: We wanted a typical Moroccan accommodation, that's why we chose this Riad. Karima is very kind, she welcomed us with tea and served us breakfast every morning. The location is hard to find if you don't ask for help before arriving. We requested the transfer from the airport, then someone brought us on foot to the location. The location is very close to walking through the tourist center.

Negative: It is not mentioned that the bathroom has no door, only a curtain.

Positive: Good location, close to the souk and the Secret Garden. Fresh tea on arrival. Big breakfast. Although hard to find initially, the owner then showed me white arrows marked on the walls leading through the maze of streets back to the riad - which was helpful. Lovely old building with beautiful tiling on the walls. It does have charm!! Feels safe and tucked away. Peaceful.

Negative: Very hard to find, at first. Owner tried to overcharge me and then claimed that the Euro must have fluctuated since that morning (not plausible given she was asking for £30 more than the agreed price on booking.com!) Dirty carpets and sockets hanging out of walls - all felt a bit grimy and run down. My room was on the ground floor so was small, dark and cold at night. Breakfast was big but just lots of types of bread. Information was drip-fed/only in response to questions (eg directions to the main street, WiFi, the fact that there's actually a roof terrace...)
