Negative: No A/C, but that was clearly known before arriving and the weather was an absurd anomaly of super heat. !

Positive: The secluded location, the property for the kids to play in the snow on. The cabin itself is really cool and I like the ability to have all the space and games for the family.
Negative: The barbecue was out of propane, which was a bummer because I planned a steak dinner for one of the nights there, a special occasion. We cooked them on a pan instead, it wasn't great. Then we went to get into the hot tub and the water level was so low that water was spraying from the jets out onto the deck. It made it quite unpleasurable and unpeaceful. We couldn't get either of the DVD players to work, which would have been nice to have a family movie. And the lock mechanism was not working, so when we arrived the door was unlocked and We couldn't lock it when we left to go into town or when it was time to check out.

Negative: Property was not fully prepared for the length of stay for the party. Lack of propane, towels, heaters. Although it wasn't an issue, the property has lots of stairs, plan accordingly.

Positive: For a family wedding at the Brown Family farm it was perfect! We were so close. it allowed us to be able to come and go all weekend two minutes away!
Negative: Lot's of stairs just to go to the bathroom at night. but that comes with the design of the house. The driveway is very narrow, I wouldn't want to do that in the ice.
Summary: For just two or large group, it's a fun location to hang out or base your adventure from.

Positive: House was very. Comfy and homey. Love that all the cupboards and drawers were labeled. Tons of movies and games to choose from. Plenty of room in this 3 story house!
Negative: The carport doesn't line up well with the actual driveway and so was very difficult in the snow.
