Summary: The staff were extremely kind and helpful. It was fun for the kids to make s’mores every night and the location was right by the north entrance for Yellowstone National Park which made it super convenient. The free coffee and reusable water bottles were nice touches. The kids used the pool and hot tub and enjoyed it. I used the laundry facilities multiple times since we were there for about 5 days. It was great to have clean clothes! The issue I personally had was it was gnat hatching season. Obviously, nature can’t be helped. We didn’t leave our doors open but every morning, we’d find dead gnats (or insects in the bathroom). Because work was being done at the hotels, some rooms had exposed lighting areas which is how I suspect the gnats were coming in. So I’d have to clean the area up after dinging dead insects in the bathtub and on the floor every morning. Linen was refreshed but they didn’t switch out the comforter which had stains on it and in hindsight, I should have asked them to change it. So that’s on me. Aside from that, it was a great location for anyone going into the national park. It’s hard to find really great accommodations there because it’s a tourist area and most things in the $300+ range for a night is still not high end. So set your expectations accordingly.

Summary: We loved this hotel! They had a fire pit and complimentary smores. The view was amazing. The front desk was always super friendly and helpful . We loved sitting by the fire with our coffee to start our day. We loved ending the day in a nice soak in the hot tub.

Summary: One of the few 3-star hotels very close to North Entrance of Yellow Stone National Park. Room has an overall outdated look. Overall OK.

Summary: This was a really fun place to stay. So convenient to Yellowstone. All the guests were fun and excited. Right on the River. The s’mores were a great touch. Pool was fun. Great stay.

Summary: Upgrade/splurge for the cabins at this hotel! It will be worth it. The main part of the hotel was dated and the room we had we asked to be moved due to odor. The staff was SO kind and accommodated us in a room change to the cabin. It was greatly appreciated.

Summary: Best was comfortable, but the room could have been swept better. We also did not have the walking stick or binoculars in our room, but the front desk as very accommodating.

Summary: Hospitality was great. They had a game room for the kids. They offered alot of extra stuff for the guests like smores and laundry. It was all included with the rooms.

Summary: This Hotels.com really botched the whole thing. My connecting flight to the area of the hotel from Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX, was canceled due to weather, with travel to be completed the next day. I wanted to report my 24-hrs late expected arrival to Hotels.com and/or the RidgeLine Hotel - But couldn't!!! 'Spent an inordinate amount of time in internet to get in touch with either party, but it was a disastrous no-go! It's like "Don't call us, we won't call you", after they take your money. This hotels.com, or Expedia I suppose, gotten too big for their britches. When I finally arrived-in at the hotel, late the next day, they told me my reservations were cancelled. Thank you very much! Between the two accommodation businesses, the hotels.com and the Gardiner, MT, hotel, I was thrown in the street. Fine accommodations! Pulling in Gardiner, MT, I kept seeing "No Vacancy" signs at various hotels. It was very upsetting to have my reservations, made several months back, cancelled. I had to reduce myself to beg for a room, at higher rate! I am now trying to write to the proper authorities (if they exist) at Hotels.com to tell them about their wayward ways, and then cancel, wipeout my account there, and never, ever again do biz w/this hotels.com, coz it's not needed.
